RE: In my living room
Most people think they see things out of the corner of your eye its an explainable occurrence. This happens more when walking from light to dark or from dark to light rooms. You fear of the dark is probably causing the feelings you are experiencing. If you tell someone they are going in a haunted house they are more apt to feel like that even if the house isn't haunted. Your being afraid of the dark is like that you are worried so your mind is making you feel what isn't there.
When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence. |

RE: In my living room
Hey, you are not the only one to see things. I sometimes see things at the side of me and then when i turn around, there is nothing there.
I hope you are ok

RE: In my living room
UNR has a very good point in that lighting changes do cause an optical illusion of shadows, when it's actually just your eyes adjusting. It's also very possible to scare yourself with what you believe you're seeing. However, it is my opinion that shadows can also be ghosts. I have seen many shadow figures, and not just when my eyes are adjusting to a light change. I have seen solid figures in the dark when I have been alone in the house. I have been fully awake at these times. I have been tested for chemical imbalances and brain disorders, because my family thought I either had something wrong with me or that my energy was creating poltergeist activity. I don't take medication, because after all the tests I had done, it was determined nothing was off balance, my mind was lucid, and I wasn't delusional. What it boils down to for me is this......I see what I see. If it's simply a shadow, it most likely will not hurt you. If you ever feel in danger, pray to God for protection. Remember, just because you see something that looks like it shouldn't be there doesn't mean it's something that will hurt you. Please let us know how you are doing or if you see anything else.

I took much ribbing from my family about that statement. Medical science, don't you love it?

RE: In my living room
In the mental hospital the demon or spirit thing or one of the demonic nurses forced a shadow to move several times to have me get up, at the time it didn't want me to sleep. I'm not nuts, even the head nurse said she wanted to sacrifice me and there was a creepy bible saying stuff like Jesus is a liar and etc.
I think the ones that are there in the hills in that mental hospital are demonic people who may worship evil. I'm not nuts, there is a spirit or demon that communicates through actions to force noises or objects and et cetera except it might not be the same one because the first seemed really evil, and this one is seemingly neutral or different suposebly.

RE: In my living room
uberkozakura-
I understand your concern. I am going through this with my daughter who is a few years older then you are. She has seen things. I believe her, because I have seen it too. I believe it is human nature to be afraid of the unknown, your feelings are normal. As I told her, do not be scared. If something is there, it has made no indication that it will hurt or harm you. There is nothing to fear. Try not to let your mind run wild. I know it is hard to not be scared or afraid, but try. I truly believe that we share our space with other dimensions. Sometimes entities cross over into our side. This does not mean they mean harm to us. Maybe they are curious. Might it be that they do not even know we are there. Possibly we are in a location that meant a lot to them. There are so many possibilities. As I mentioned above, try not to be afraid. It is your house. As mentioned in an above post, if you feel real scared or overwhelmed, pray. Take care and keep us updated, Ali People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within. ~Elisabeth Kübler-Ross |
