Your husband might be a fan of HP Lovecraft. Has he ever read any of his short stories?

Bracket....it started out as blind faith....the experiences came later. As I said it was 3:43 am or something like that so I didn't explain everything too well.
Also....I need to let everyone on here know something about me. I tend to talk in half sentences or without entire meaning....sorry. My thoughts go so fast through my head that I don't always state things thoroughly. It's not as bad when I'm typing...but in person, I've said half the sentence in my head before I start talking. It drives everyone crazy and I really don't know how to change it.

I think you make sense, Warrior, but I also am friends with you with email as well as the forum. I've gotten to know you, so what you say does make sense.

Don't change anything about yourself or your writing style Warrior...........I for one love your honest style of writing.

ok...but I do need to work on my speaking abilities. Words often elude me and I say things like "you know that brown thingy over there" also I make up words alot.

I don't think your words fail you when you need to express your thoughts clearly. I, too, write far better than I speak. I think that is a given for most people. Even those who make speeches, it is all written down for them. I don't know many who can speak from the heart without tripping up. Look at celebs and politicians, sometimes, they really put their foot in their mouth!

If you want to hear my speech, just watch the video of Tour a Haunted House with Lauren. That is my real voice and I so hate my voice. To me, I do not sound that way.

I love your voice, Pitch! It sounds so comforting, like I would love to just sit and have a cup of tea with you and gab for hours.

I lost faith in churches long ago. When I read the Bible, and if I have trouble understanding something, I try to keep in mind the symbolism involved. I find much comfort in the ways Jesus taught............although I see so little of it actually practiced today, and that includes in the churches I have attended.

I am in no way saying all churches are the same.......I haven't been to them all, so I can't make that assessment. I just find so many that remind me of when Jesus stormed into the temple and showed the actual human temper He had at the corruption He saw. The ones I have been to have been about money, plain and simple. I do find fellowship with people who believe as I do....but not in church.

Our sermon today was pretty much on the pretentiousness that exists in some churches. Pastor Dennis said that some people treat church like it was a social club instead of a place of worship and of learning.
