But where do they get their clothes? Clothes don't have 'ghosts'! I know it is a weird thought but is why my ghosts are almost naked and the only reason I didn't make them totally naked was I didn't want to shocked my readers too much. They have on wisps of cloths that is ectoplasm.

I think that spirits are seen wearing clothes because it is what they did in life. Maybe it's a way of distinguishing themselves from other ghosts. I've read a lot of stories of spirits in soldiers uniforms, Victorian era etc

I have read a lot of ghost stories where one particular ghost haunts a place, the ghost is always seen in the same clothing. I've never read where a ghost or spirit actually changed clothes all the time. Maybe, it's the clothes they died in.

Take angels for instance, I've never read where they've appeared to be naked, they're generally in a white robe, or gown.

Ok, so the question is - has anyone ever seen a naked ghost?

I haven't. - so they get clothes from somewhere. Mind imprinting, perhaps?

Now, some folks die naked, check out all the heart attack victims while having raunchy sex. So who knows someone who died in a compromising situation and they came for a visit? What were they wearing?

Just to complicate it for ya -

If it's us fleshies who dress our apparitions then how do we know what a ghost was wearing when it died if we weren't there?

So I contend that it is the ghost that chooses what it looks like, including clothing.

Running with that theory - if they could wear whatever they can conjure then certainly a ghost wouldn't show up dripping wet.

So, (lots of so's here) they must have some kind of connection to their appearance, and perhaps not that much control over it.

So, you can all be warned to wear clean underwear - if you bite the big one, you could end up wearing dirty underwear for all eternity.

While I was growing up I heard ghost stories and watched Korean programs on TV about hauntings and mysteries, what is weird and funny is that almost 95% of all the korean ghosts have white traditional clothes on..

I just think that a soul, spirit, is not a duplicate in appearance of its host. It would possibly have no shape, be more like an orb or smoke. Man's own apprehension is why they put clothes on ghosts. Possibly the same reason angels wear clothes. Remember Adam and Eve were nude until eating from the tree of knowledge.

If anyones ever seen the show taps, when they use the thermal image cam to catch stuff thats pretty hard to discredit. Because there walking with a regular camera too.

So if you see on the regular screen just an empty room but then on the thermal a person sitting in a chair in the room its pretty interesting ya know.

And plus taps trys to disprove there own evidence which i think is very cool and theyd be the only paranormal team that id trust.

I remeber theres been a couple times on that show where theyve caught stuff on camera that is really intriguing.

I never miss Ghost Hunters. The best show of its type ever shown. Yes, they will always try to 'debunk' evidents before labeling it paranormal. They have had some great captures, the EVPs are more convincing than anything else. Also their recent use of a gadget that detects fields and flashed small lights when one is encountered, is use to communicate with these entities. They will ask questions and the lights will flash in answer.
