Ive been going through these pics looking for a somewhat intriguing picture, you know, anything more than a glitch in film, or a blurry shadow, and i cant find any.

Most of these seem to be orb photos, which i thought the consencus here in the paracommunity was that they were nothing, dust or bugs, which is what they are.

So can someone please link me to an atleast halfway decent photo?

DeadLegend, I hate to say this, but I seriously doubt if a half way decent photo even exists anywhere. I totally agree with you about the orbs, I've never "got excited" over a big blob of dust on my photos. I'm not really sure that I even believe you can photograph a spirit, or ghost. I suppose it's possible that if you can see it a camera can to.

I am very skeptical of pictures even though I know for a fact that the paranormal world exists. I have searched and searched online and have yet to find a picture that I truly believe has captured a real entity.

Just wanted to add that this is just my personal opinion and is not directed toward anyone in anyway.

I have to agree with Haunted about catching ghosts with cameras, so far there is none and mostly if they are on the computer almost no one will believe them because it can be "shopped" easily. While I was in Korea, there was a group of skeptics trying to prove this old black and white picture, well it was more brown and white due to its age. Anyways they see the picture and there was an actual female that was in the pic, but not in person at the time when this family took the photo. So what they did was, they grabbed a random picture that had the same color texture and then scanned it and through the use of photoshop, they got a picture of a women and made her transparent, then put her into the background just like the other photos. And said, "that is why that photo could easily be fake, and mostly all photos online as well."

It seems as though technology is against us on this side of the paranormal realm, but skeptics are always going to stay skeptics until something major happens to them.

That's exactly the problem Buzze.

So many people have a great time making up fake photos and videos - and some are really good - just for the sake of making folks look 'stoopid' for believing in the paranormal.

And far worse, as far as I'm concerned, are the big name paranormal people that fake stuff just to make bucks for themselves.

That leaves people who take an honest picture and leaves them face down in the dirt, no one wants to believe it any more.

On the other hand, I certainly appreciate folks who give a learned explanation for why they think a photo isn't paranormal. We aren't all that knowledgeable about photography and can easily make honest mistakes. If it's explainable I sure want to hear it - but I don't want to called an idiot.

The problem, I think, is that too many of these people take real joy in stomping on someone rather than sharing their knowledge.

I don't know that orbs have been totally discredited though - I'm not ready to say for certain that nothing exists in that form. I haven't seen any myself - I do know of one person who says he has seen one and I have no reason to doubt his sincerity.

So I'm staying on the side of I think there is something to orbs - I'm not convinced it's ghosts - perhaps some other spirit entity - but it's something.

I am skeptic too although I have fun looking for things in shadows that don't show up unless the contrast feature is used. Can't be sure if maybe this isn't matrix-ing and fooling us/me.

You know what I have a problem with concerning ghost pictures, is that these 'ghosts' have on clothes. If a spirit is a soul and the soul is our inner selves, our lifeforce, etc, why isn't it naked? We came into this world naked and no matter if a corpse is dressed for burial, cremation, etc, it leaves this world the same way. I would be more inclined to believe an orb as a freed spirit, being mere energy and even if it should manifest itself in a human shape, that image should be nude! I just don't, can't believe that material can have a spirit. Has anyone ever thought of that?

Well now there is a good question. Do naturalists haunt naked?? Enquiring minds want to know? (Hey this would make a great article for my site, ok, maybe not)

I wonder if it has to do with the ghost itself, that that is the last way they saw themselves and that is the way they choose to present themselves. Kind of an imprint thing??

I know of one instance where the ghost showed up as they would have at the time of their death. And one instance where they clearly decided they were taking a step back and 'fixing' themselves up.

I've seen ghosts show up in jeans even though they were buried in a suit (Well, he did say he wouldn't be caught dead in one ).

If a ghost can remember where he used to live, and what things he liked, why not remember that he should probably get dressed? (I'm going to assume we can run around naked after we're dead if we want to. Personally, I want to fly. )

I think it depends on what the ghost wants - maybe how much trauma they endured - maybe they need a settling in time. And maybe the lights, orbs, are the totally free ones.

Maybe its that the entity shows up with a clothing they wear the most and like. Sounds reasonable, just like what my religious leader told me "they are people, they will go to places where they loved to go too, or go to someone who they love."
