The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Sponsor Messages Many of the teams out there leave me shaking my head, they don’t know photography but will argue that lens, flare, mists, orbs are paranormal. Do they look at how or why they capture this? No they want it to be proof so they claim it is. Taking a picture of a mirror at an angle will show something at an angle, but people forget this and claim the lamp with the round globe is a shadow person. I admire those that will post a picture and ask for real opinions it shows they really want to know. So before you post that next picture of an ectoplasm look deeper at it, what could be causing the strange white mists around that plate of HOT food. Common sense may help you find out. I want to thank a large bigfoot site for inspiring this as 70% or more of their claims I read are from children or young teens. They have shown in the past they are after numbers not the truth. I am not saying teens aren't reliable but a noise in the woods doesn't make it a bigfoot. the feeling of being followed as you walk down a path at dusk doesn't make it a bigfoot or a ghost. So the next time you decide to promote that paranormal experience or UFO or bigfoot sighting remember an old story. The Boy Who Cried Wolf When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence. |

RE: The Boy Who Cried Wolf
VERY well said! It's not supposed to be about finding "evidence" it is supposed to be about finding the truth whatever that may be. And as my son recently found out, crying "wolf" will only get a lot of people looking at you like you're full of it..even if that ONE time, you may be telling the truth. (you also may have to write "I will not lie about anything anymore because then no one will believe me" fifty times...or maybe that's just my son.....)
"When you feel like a toad on the highway of life... and everyone seems like a steel-belted radial... when you're lyin' there squished in an assortment of bodily fluids... at least you left your mark." ~Arnie Dogan, "The Red Green Show" |
