stone to help someone feel safe?

I'm looking for a stone/crystal or charm to give someone to help her feel more safe in the dark. She says that she basically feels paranoid at night and doesn't know why. Any ideas of what to get?

Just a suggestion, but this looks like a good one! The fire agate is supposed to build a protective shield and make one feel safe as well as sending negative energy back to where it came from!

Also when in doubt or you just can't find anything....try a crystal quartz. They are kinda the "do all" of stones
