RE: World ending May 21st
Merged my thread with this one, so there may be some strange continuity... but... yeah. Two threads for the same topic.

... I couldn't remember where I'd seen the topic before (I read a lot of forums) when I posted a new thread. =)

Nope, didn't miss it...world is still alive and well. All quiet on the Family Radio front I am sure. I'm guessing their voice mail message is going something like this..."You have reached Family Radio Network. If we are not here to take your call, we have left with your donated money to an undisclosed location." **hint..it's not Heaven....**

Still here....

You know, i do feel sad for those who spent alot of money because of this. People who quit their good paying jobs, in order to prepare for judgement day. AND, to those people who paid $135.00 per year per pet and an additional $10.00 for any additional pet and signed a 10 year term, so that 'this' company can look after your pet while you go off to heaven (I guess this company knew they weren't one of the lucky ones to go to heaven, lol.).... This i heard in my car on Thursday, on my way into work in the morning..... CRAZY, CRAZY stuff.

Yes, I remember when Earth Bound Eternal Pets were talking about charging people money to take care of their pets "post rapture"..and this was back in 2009. My guess is they cleaned up during all of this.

I do feel badly for people..to an extent. It's inspired me to write an article about mass hysteria and its effects. There are some very bewildered people walking around today wondering where it all went wrong, and it's got me wanting to research more about how it happens.

RE: World ending May 21st
I find it hard to feel sorry for these people because they are such freaking idiots!!

I know that sounds harsh, but it's what I feel. I mean, WHY do these people let themselves be brainwashed like this???? What is it with the "follower" mentality??? And it's not just these people either....alot of people have the follower mentality, they just adhere to "respected" religious cults.....uh, I mean.....denominations.

ok, this is going to go into one of my organized religion rants so I'd better go drink a cup of chamomile tea...Icontexto-emoticons-08-032x032

That's what's got me thinking too, beausant. There is one thing I noticed with this guy..whenever one of the media folks would ask him "what will you do on May 22 if nothing happens?" he would always say "it is going to happen". He was adamant..would not even entertain the possibility. That right there shows the mentality that is used to create this...no questions. No doubts. Any doubts cause the hard questions to be asked and that's when people start using their brains to think rationally.

Well, well, well....seems we have a prophet that has a few things to say..

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/...ak-today/1

From the article linked: "At National Public Radio, Barbara Bradley Hagerty called some Camping followers on the sobering morning after the non-apocalypse.

... most didn't answer the phone. Those who did wouldn't talk on the record. But one man, his voice quavering, said he was still holding out hope that they were one day off. Another believer asserted that their prayers worked: God delayed judgment so that more people could be saved, but the end is "imminent."

But Hagerty also learned from a board member of Camping's Family Radio that he hoped they would somehow return the funds donated by believers who wanted to get out the May 21st word. But he offered no guarantees, just a hope that God would be merciful."

Wow.........
