Studying Paranormal
As we study paranormal first and foremost we need to keep an open mind. Beliefs are fine, we all have them just at different levels. This is needed so we can discuss and move forward. Now in moving forward we need to look at ALL aspects. We need to look at alternate causes to move the field forward. Now that said I recommend a book.

Paranormal Mechanisms II by Micheal Persinger.

To read parts of the book]
Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.
I've got some extra money coming, so I just may order this from Amazon! I checked my library online..they don't have it. It looks very interesting and informative. I agree, all aspects need to be looked at and studied...otherwise the chances of finding any real answers are pretty slim.
“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ~Philip K. Dick
