I don't often remember my dreams and the ones that do stick out at me are usually strange. This one i had today is no exception. I was at my grandma's house and many of the wall were missing. Not torn out or damaged, they were simply not there. There is a wooded area that is in the backyard of my grandma's house and i could see it from the room i often sleep in when i visit there. I could feel something watching me from the woods. It wasn't like a suspicion, I knew something was there, watching me. I went outside and crept around the side of the house where the woods were and i spotted something there. It was humanoid, standing on two legs but hunched down. It must have heard me because it immediately took off running. I began to chase it and it was then that i awoke. Like i said, weird. Sometimes my dreams are on par with Lovecraft.

I am no dream interpreter, but it is my understanding that often dreams of houses are representative of self (mind and body)and relationships within. Often dreams also encompass things which we've seen, watched on tv or a movie, read or even imagined with no rhyme nor reason as to why it was stuck in there.

Very well said 1TxLady. I agree there. Our dreams are often just replays of the previous day, week or month. We have no control over how or why they get replayed nor what order they are replayed back in.
Research will I am sure confirm this.

i had this dream the other night and i followed two African Americans up a flight of stairs and one of them said " look! its a mover!" and i stared at a shadow walking towards the three of us. i woke up right after that i was pretty afraid my alarm clock went off 2 minuets later and walking to the stair case to go take a shower i saw a shadow move toward me, im nearly certain that it was my brain be over reactive but it was still pretty freaky
