Ghost woman?

A friend of mine was staying at his friend's house, where he'd been feeling something watch him for a while. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw something. He pulled out his cell and took a quick picture, and this is what he caught:

It looks like it's got a flowing dress to me, thus why I called it a woman. I saved this from his facebook, and added it to my photobucket account, and I didn't edit it myself, if it's been edited at all. Though he's a pretty trustworthy guy, and I don't think he has any experience in any form of photobucket. In case you're not sure what I'm mentioning, there's a white spot on the left of the picture. There's gotta be something in that house, if he caught something on camera, right?

RE: Ghost woman?
Hi SilverKitten,

I've exported the pic into Photoshop and increased the brightness and decreased the contrast which has considerably improved the clarity of the pic. The light area you're describing appears to be a light reflection on a polished surface such as glass or wood. It ends quite abruptly below the pinpoint of light (which is visible in the version posted) indicating that that particular area is non reflective.
IMO (as an experienced professional photographer) it's a light - possibly torch/flash or bulb illumination. It doesn't resemble any form that could be described as human or dress like.

Hope this throws some light on it Icontexto-emoticons-04-032x032

RE: Ghost woman?
I see a low mega pixel camera phone with no exif information. No flash so we had a longer exposure and if you look at the base of your woman you will see two white objects. Now as the button is pushed it opens the shutter, it doesn't get enough light so it remains open and the camera is then lowered with the white images leaving a trail until the shutter closes. you can see the white images widths are followed with a gap in between until they join with the angle of camera travel.

When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence.

RE: Ghost woman?
Thanks for the input, guys.. Sorry for the no exif info, I figured that'd be a problem, but as I said, this is a friend's pic, so I just wanted you guy's opinion on it. Thanks again!
