Questionnaire
Sponsor Messages What I really want to ask is paganism. I am doing some work on the rise of paganism in Wales(UK) and American. So my question is, Do you think that paganism is getting recognized more? & Do you agree with taxing witches & psychics in Romania? RE: Questionnaire
I think the freedom to practice your preferred religious beliefs without fear of being burned at the stake is on an uprise. Finally, and thankfully so. Paganism itself is in reality older than Christianity though. Most Christian practices and traditions are derived from the Pagan culture. Merry Christmas! Or in some of my friends homes...it all looks the same, but your seasons greeting will be "Happy Yule".
As far as taxing witches and psychics, I do agree that anyone making a living from a service profession should pay taxes. They do here in the US...and have for years. If I sell you a birth chart, I need to have the appropriate service vendors licensure and I pay taxes...why shouldn't they in Romania? Interesingly not every Pagan is a witch, but every witch is Pagan. A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything. ~Friedrich Nietzsche Feel free to tell me what you need and I will tell you how to get by without it. ~Mom For the believer, both the evidence of science and the failure of science to explain the paranormal is all the proof they need. For the sceptic, no evidence no matter how scientific will ever be proof enough. ~John Zaffis |

Many pagans (myself included) didn't feel "right" in a christian setting of any kind. I certainly didn't to be honest! I've been a pagan for years and an activly practicing one within the pagan community for 5 and I now run my own coven. So it all depends on where you "fit" if that seems appropriate LOL Faeries, come take me out of this dull world, For I would ride with you upon the wind, Run on the top of the dishevelled tide, And dance upon the mountains like a flame. RE: Questionnaire
I'm in agreement with LK on this. I think Paganism is becoming accepted more and more people are defining themselves in a spiritual sense as Pagans.
I think anyone who earns a living by charging a fee for a product or service should be taxed according to the laws of the country they're in. I also think special Tax status should be abolished for all religions and all faiths treated equally. DB Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence |
