RE: Ed and Lorraine Warren Interview Excerpt
I don't know Eric, I think anything we could say without the full story would be speculation at best. Again, I don't know the story so I really can't say for sure...but if they claim it was a demon they most certainly believe it was a demon.
A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything. ~Friedrich Nietzsche Feel free to tell me what you need and I will tell you how to get by without it. ~Mom For the believer, both the evidence of science and the failure of science to explain the paranormal is all the proof they need. For the sceptic, no evidence no matter how scientific will ever be proof enough. ~John Zaffis |

RE: Ed and Lorraine Warren Interview Excerpt
I take everything the Warrens have said with a big pinch of salt. Every high profile case they've been involved in has been called into question from the Amityville 'Horror' to the Snedeker Haunting 'in Connecticut'.
I've followed the Warrens for many years and studied their books and the cases they've investigated - especially the Amityville Horror. With respect to the late Ed Warren I think they're well meaning but deluded in their beliefs, investigations and conclusions - nearly every case has 'demons' at it's heart and their research methods leave much to the imagination. Plus there always seemed to be a book/film deal involved in their cases that they took personal charge of. DB Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence |
