Matrixing caused by lights

The following picture was taken at a show we were recently at. The blue lights caused a matrixing effect. It looks like a profile in the center of the photo. The bass drum is the chin. The next picture is taken at the same performance, with the same iPhone, without the blue lights. (Sorry, I did not have another of the drum kit.)

I find it interesting how different colored lights can cause certain effects.

Excellent example of how the lighting can catch something just the right way, and our minds will see something totally different. Thanks for posting it...(SOOOOOO jealous of the good seats it looks like you had!)

Great job of understanding what you took. So many times a picture like this would be posted as evidence of paranormal on someones web site.

When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence.
