Astral Projection and OBE

Quick question... what is the general consensus on Astral Projection and OBE? Is it possible that ghost sightings and UFOs are actually related to Astral Projection?

I am an author (in my various interviews I have described myself as an Imaginaut - basically, I like to unleash my imagination upon a page and see what comes of it) and I have unleashed a book based on Astral Projection (I won't provide a link here to accommodate the house rules - message me directly if you want to learn more about the novel. It's a supernatural thriller set in modern day London). I find the subject of particular fascination and wanted to get a feeling for how the AP and OBE are generally viewed.

Please help! Is this a ghost or what? Why did this start happening?

Hi. So I've been having strange experiences at my house for a few years in Shawnee, Ks. I've lived here for 15 years, and I'm 15 a y/o. So, I hear people running down the hallway at night and no one is home but me and my dad who is ill and always in bed. I have felt tugs on my blanket when I am trying to sleep 3 times now. I have seen a person walk by out of the corner of my eye about 20 times now, and when I look over there nothing is there. I've seen a bright white figure out of the corner of my eye. Looked over, nothing there. I believe it was an angel because I felt safe and secure. I took a picture last night around 10. I need help figuring this out. It kinda looks like a ghost, it looks like there is long black hair and is wearing a gown. Here it is. I don't think it is a ghost because it's in front of my clothes pile.. But you guys can decide that. And this morning I found a full spray bottle in my bathroom and I had left it in my room the night before. I'm scared... and I haven't told anyone about this, they may think I'm crazy. :/

This is an EVP we picked up while doing an investigation several years ago. I would LOVE to hear some opinions on this.

Ok so you can hear us talking in the background....the
recorder is about 15-25 feet away from us... (we were alone in the park), and then you hear a high pitched voice over the top of us say something. We think he might be saying "oh...look at that...... what are you doing here". Maybe you hear something different?

This investigation was conducted at Crown Continental Park, in
unincorporated Clark County WA, where a young boy was murdered several years prior.

{There was some graffiti in the park and a paint can on one of the play structures. You can hear me telling the others not to touch the paint can because it had spider webs on it (proof that we weren't responsible for the graffiti).}

Enchanted spellboard question

Hello everyone. I'm new here. Just had a question and was curious if anyone could answer it or if they had any experiences they wished to share. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I've been using an enchanted spellboard for awhile now and I have been in contact with my grandmother. At least I think it's my grandmother. The difference with specifically speaking with her is that the disc moves much faster around the board as opposed to when I'm just asking whomever to answer my questions. And my questions are answered with more detail when I talk to who I think is my grandmother. So my question is: am I really, truly speaking with my grandmother? Or is it a astral entity posing as my grandmother? I've heard that mostly it's some random spirit talking to you, not a deceased loved one.

Back in the summer of 1996, my parents and I took a trip to Biltmore Estates. When we got there, it was even more beautiful than the pictures in the brochures. Lush vineyards. Beautiful gardens. The grounds alone is breathtaking. When I walked into that house, I didn't feel anything, at first. Then we followed the crowd to the HUGE dining room. Still, I didn't feel nothing. But, when we got to the ballroom. THAT was were I actually felt something. My parents and I were in the ballroom, and I was right at the door that leads from the ballroom and into the library, when all of a sudden, I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. And then it felt like there was a small knot in my stomach. At first, it didn't register. But, after a while, I thought to myself, "Someone has their hand on my shoulder." So, looking behind me, thinking it was my mom or dad, I didn't see anyone that was that close to me, that they would have their hand on my shoulder. My mom and dad WERE behind me, but neither one of them had their hand on my shoulder. I told my mother and father what happened, when we got back in the van. My mother believed me. And, naturally, my father tried to explain what it was with HIS logic.

I am not saying that it was a ghost, I just find it odd that I would feel a tiny knot in my stomach, too.

Was this spirit always here or is it my brother?

Hi all. I am new to this forum. I am hoping to hear some opinions as to something that is recently happening at my house.
My husband and I bought our house in 2009. We moved in immediately after our wedding. My brother moved in spring of 2011 and rented our bonus room. During the time we were all living there I never heard or saw anything weird. We moved out of the house a year ago and my brother and his buddy are renting the whole house. My brother sleeps downstairs where there are 3 rooms and his friend sleeps upstairs in the bonus room. My brother confesed to me last week that he thinks the house is haunted. He said that he hears a lot of noises and voices. He hadn't mentioned anything to his friend because he didn't want to creep him out and also since he was unsure what it was he was hearing. He said that one day while they were watching tv his friend asked him if he ever hears weird noises. That is when my brother knew it wasn't his imagination.
He told me that it is children's voices he hears and they come from the 2 smaller rooms (my kid's old nurseries). His friend says he hears loud noises like furniture moving. For him to hear noises all the way in the bonus room , it has to be loud. His friend said more than once he came downstairs to chat with my brother thinking he was home because of the loud sounds only to find nothing there.
The thing is, while I was living there I never saw or heard anything like what they are describing. My husband worked out of town alot and I had 2 babies while living there, so there were plenty of long lonely nights and I can't think of anything scary happening. So why would they start appearing now? He told me he is having to sleep with the lights on because now he is starting to have incredibly vivd creepy dreams. I am afraid they will want to move out.....
My sister suggested that maybe because I got pregnant immediately after moving in and there was a child in the house, the ghosts liked me and the kids and therefore never bothered us.
Now that I remember, there were 2 times that my daughter and I were playing in her room and she would stop and smile at what looked like the wall for several seconds. I believe in angels so I thought it was sweet and that maybe she was smiling at her guardian angel.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to why this started happening now? Advice?

I feel I am being plagued. At the last concert that I went to on 4/20 (dragged to go by my so-called friends), there was some weird Haitian prayer in the beginning, and my name was called out while being directly looked and pointed at towards the end of the concert. Other audience members were making OK illuminati hand gestures throughout whilst taking photos of the performing artists. A couple days after, I felt scratches forming on my back. When I looked in the mirror the number 14 was clearly visible (my birthday and self-proclaimed lucky number). I’ve noticed people can read my mind and feel my emotions, too. I have countless examples if anyone is interested. My housemates act strange when I’m around. I notice slip-ups in their dialogues that directly correlate to my thoughts. I haven't vocally acknowledged nor confronted anyone about this understanding for I fear I may be killed if I voice what I know. (My own mother slipped-up and told me 'It's not like I had you assassinated'. She realized what she said and quickly withdrew) It’s as if there is some conspiracy against me (it may be worldwide for all I know). Even the news seems to be sketchy, lately. There are also strange stains in my carpet that lead from the staircase to my bedroom door and stop suddenly. These stains were dots at one point, and now it seems the dots have connected. Spots on the carpet that trailed to other rooms in my house are no longer visible, as well. There are also random red drips on my bedroom wall closest to the door. These are just a few of the many, many examples of unexplainable things that I have noticed as of late. The list goes on and on. I fear I'm losing my sanity, thought I am remaining as strong and level-headed as possible. Does anyone know what is happening to me? I am willing to provide more information for follow-up questions.

Thanks for accepting me onto this forum.

I need some help, I'm starting to panic. I'm not a religious person, or a spiritual person - you could say I'm a skeptic. I have always had an interest in "ghosts" and "demons" and played with the idea of life after death etc, but I've never ever thought it would happen to me.

I've always been plagued with night terrors, dreams within dreams about people in the room and it can play serious tricks on your mind- but recently somethings been happening that I can't just pass off as psychological tricks, and I need some advice.

It started about a month ago, I kept waking up (I live with my boyfriend) and I will hear something in the room, that sounds like it's dragging itself across the floor, things fall over in it's path but I can never see it - the room is freezing cold & no matter how hard I shake my boyfriend he won't wake up. I tried to ignore it but now whenever I'm alone in the house my phone will start ringing and there won't be any indication of a phone call on the screen but the ring tone will be going off, and the second I put my hand on my phone it will stop. Banging on windows, slamming doors & a feeling of dread follow me where ever I am. In the shower the water will run cold and the door will bang, and then things started getting weirder.

The whispers started, for example the first time it happened I was making a cup of tea and something just said "STEPH" in a hiss in my ear, and I spun around and the door banged.

Now, every night I wake up and hear the dragging and someone will be whispering "Steph, dont wake him up" "steph, look over here" "steph look at me" "steph" and it's terrifying. I have horrendous dreams, hear little kids laughing when I'm alone in the house, feel constant dread and sometimes, it sounds mental but I don't feel myself and I woke up a week ago and my boyfriend said i was sat up in bed, staring forwards and when I looked at him "my eyes didn't look like my own"

Windows open by themselves at night, my phones alarm turn themselves off, and last night was the worst and it's terrified me, the dragging started, the whispering started but this time it all suddenly stopped, and i felt an incredible weight on my feet, like someone had sat on the end of the bed.

I scrambled up and practically assaulted by boyfriend awake, but it doesn't go away.

What is this? I'm trying so hard to rationalize it but it's beginning to get all sorts of crazy.

hand print on body???

Hi all I'm hoping someone here can help me understand something that happened to my friend. My friend woke up with a white hand print round about where her kidneys are, there was no redness or swelling. The finger marks had what it looked like finger nails and the thumb was detached from the hand. The fingers were long and on the thumb nail it looks like there is a face. There was nothing in the bed to cause it and she awoke sleeping on the otherwis. Can anybody tell me if this is something evil as she is so scared. Thankyou

I want to greet everybody because it’s my first thread on this forum. And also I want to ask to forgive for my not so good writing skills, english is not my native language, I’m living in Poland.
My story (to be exact, not mine, but someone very close to me, but more of it later) is rather.. weird. I had thoughts if I picked the right forum, but under given circumstances I think I picked it right. To the point.
My girlfriend is living in a village located about 250kilometers from me. With regard to the old traditions the coffin with the dead body of a departed for a some period of time, usually three to four days (please note, that funeral ceremony may be different in my country, Poland). In her house something is repeatly knocking suddenly etc, whole house has this.. bad aura around it. My girlfriend herself had many paranormal experiences, in example she predicted the death of her beloved dog, and she dreamed about her grandpa recently.. But it wasn’t ordinary dream, she told me that was “the real thing” and when he heard that with his family everything is allright he was relieved.
So, as you can see my gf is living in a place full of some kind of.. energy I guess. And she has it herself. And to the main point, point of this thread. The last night experience.
After watching the movies over Skype last night, we went to bed and fell asleep at around 11.30p.m. I slept well all night, but my girlfriend… She had few nightmares. The first one she had to close the gates of hell with her father, because the beasts were running wild (yup, she does have the dreams like that). The next ones was random, but with the one common motive: the repeatly appearance of the figure of her death friend. That friend one year death anniversary is today.
But she couldn’t sleep because of something else that night. She had a thought that she was watched when she was sleeping. Also, she was hearing a light knocking, what stopped, when she was waking up. But that wasn’t it. Around 2:30 am her mother approached her. With her phone, which was playing music out loud. She said that she found that phone in the shower, and she was angry why she brought it there. My girlfriend was shocked, because she knew that she didn’t do that.. but there’s also another thing. The phone has a message saved in drafts. “ZMOPIMO”. No other info. Whole family was sleeping at that time… I tried to encrypt that message. First thought, google translate. I typed it in, and clicked “check language”. It happened to aim me at Slovenian language. But no exact match, only “did you mean >zmolimo<” (which is fairly close), what means… “Let us pray” We was terrified, but… we discovered something more time after. It could be an anagram. Because it forms” POMOZ MI” in polish, which means… “HELP ME”. What. The. Heck. At this point you are probably thinking that this is a joke. A troll. No, it isn’t. Her brother was drunk and came home about midnight, he couldn’t do it, neither her grandma or parents. What could that be? In that house there was often cases when mobile phones rang itself with no reason, but that situation?
I can think of few theories… first of all, her dead friend. She was killed in an accident. Leaving her baby and her father alone. She could be wandering around and doing this. Or my girlfriend.. she could do that by herself, you know, sleepwalking around. She was actual a sleepwalker when she was younger, but she said that she got over this.
Please help me help her, I don’t know what and why is it doing that…

is it really just a sleep paralysis?

I have my recent so called sleep paralysis this morning., really freaks me out. It was diffirent from my previous expirience, I felt my spirit was bieng force to move from my body, my whole body feels like bieng electrified for about 2 mins.

This morning, right before I woke up, I had an odd dream. I dreamt that I was deaf. Not completely deaf. I could hear what other people said, but I could not hear what I was saying in my dream. I couldn't even hear what I was doing. For example in my dream, I was reading my Bible, and I could NOT hear myself turn the pages. Not even a little bit. My mom said that it meant, I should listen to her, more often and not to myself. LOL. I don't know if THAT is what the dream meant.

Do Resources Really Run Out?

I don't know for sure, but what if there isn't a limit on oil at all? What if there isn't a limit on gold or silver or platinum either? I mean humans have made jewelry since at least the time of the Celts but probably back to the Egyptians, but we're sill using and having gold! And it's still plentiful enough to be sold in stores and jewelry shops! Same with silver! What if there's no such thing as a nonrenewable resource? I mean, if resources were going to run out, then we would have mined all of a resource after about 4-12 years, but we are still able to mine/get these resources!

This might just be flat-out insane, and I am not sure how this could happen outside of a philosophical or paranormal method, standard geology doesn't seem like it could do this in the quantities required, but the data I looked at seemed to suggest that the standard idea of running out quickly is not easily visible and undeniable, at least not as of now.

The USGS has a mineral deposit map viewable in Google Earth. And Minex Consulting has discovery and mining data.

I just need to get you opinion or advice.

My friend Laly was experiencing weird stuff since their family move or should I say relocate to an old ancestral house. She said that she didn't like the place, it seems like there is someone looking at her every night in her sleep. After a few weeks stay when her BF visited her, she's always feeling weird, when her BF slept with her in her room, her dream of a black shadow straggling on his BF neck. Then the black shadow grab her hands and attempting to raped her, then she closed her eyes and realized that it was just a dream, but she believes it really happen, she saw her BF sleeping next to her. 3 days after, she’d dream again about the black shadow hurting her, next morning she woke up she notice of some bruise on her body. Her Mom asked her what happened on her, then she told her what happened, her mother didn’t believe in paranormal thing or what so ever, instead her mother brought her in the hospital, but surprisingly even the Doctor can’t explain how she got her bruise. Then it happens frequently, that’s why her family decided to bring her in the faith healer, she was given a circle metal thing that will serve as her protection. The faith healer said that she was being possessed by a bad spirit.

How are they going to get rid of that bad spirit? Do you have any idea why my friend is being possessed by this bad spirit? I want to help her.

Now the story I am going to tell has me very conflicted about whether the entity involved was a shadow creature, or a demonic entity but I cannot comfortably put the denomic title to it, so I think I will use this classification to discribe it. Although I would be very interested in hearing some of your opinions and experiences in relation to this circumstance.

In the apartment I grew up in we had a lot of paranormal activity. It was a relatively old building, and it had it's fair share of deaths. I think this is important, for many reasons - one being that life, death, and trauma are events that can imprint a very powerful energy signiture on the physical enviornment in which the event occurs. Places like this, in my opinion, that have powerful energy signals attract other types of energies.

I was very sensitive when I was younger, but I started to lose some of the ability I had as I grew older. Part of this I attribute to a specific event that I am working on recovering as I have regressed the memory. By the time the thing in the shadows made it presence known in my home I had closed off almost completely to the paranormal. I still felt things, and picked up on energies but I had stopped seeing apperitions and auras.

My brother was much more sensitive throughout his entire life than I had ever been, and he started seeing the "black thing," before I did. Over the course of a year the energy changed completely in the apartment. There was a feeling of negativity at all times, but at night the feeling of dread was so strong that I slept with my bedroom light on, and the door closed. I slept like that for 3 years until I finally moved out when I was 18.

My brother had physical altercations with the entity, but only in the dark. As soon as the light would go on the thing would disapear. The first time it got serriously frightening it was in the middle of the night. I woke up to hear things being thrown around in the other room, my brother would have been 15 at that time. I ran to his room opened the door and turned on the light. The room was trashed and my brother was sitting in the corner. He had bruises and scratches and was convinced that I had attacked him while I was sleeping. He said we had been fighting for over a minuite, dressers were pushed over, the bed had been moved. It was a substantial event.

After that I started seeing the shadows move. The were three specific events that stick out in my mind I will describe now.

The first time I saw the "black thing." It was around dusk and I was in the living room at the end of the hall talking with my parents. I looked down the hallway and watched a figure that I guessed to be around 7 feet tall cross the hallway from my room, and enter my brother's room. It was completely black, with no distinguishable features. This freaked me out but I shook it off as my own paranoia.

The second time I saw the shadow creature was in my dinning room. It was late at night and all the lights were off in the area. We had a water cooler against one wall and there was a picture hung above the water cooler. I had bent down to fill my cup and when I stood up I could see someone behind me in the reflection from the glass on the picture. The thing was very tall, completely black, no facial features. I am 6'5 and this thing had an extra 3 or 4 inches on me. I turned around and there was nothing there but darkness.

After that I stopped leaving my room at night. I left my room a few months later to check on my brother across the hall, I left my light on in my room so that I could feel comfortable crossing the hallway. Once I got half way to my brother's room, I stopped and something down the end of the hall caught my eye. It was completely dark, and the shadows started getting closer to me. I could see a humanoid figure standing at the end of the hall. As the darkness crept close up the hallway, the figure would get closer. I never left my room again during the night, after that day.

I don't know what it was. My brother is now in his early twenties and he says that he still sees the dark figure. I still wont spend the night in that apartment after everything I experienced. I can deal with ghosts, spirits, and a lot of different spiritual energies, but whatever was in that apartment, and is seemingly still there - is something that I never want to have to deal with again.

What do you all think??

Am I A Medium?

Hello,

Im New here so sorry if I posted in wrong part.

Its been on my mind a while and I was wondering am I anything like a medium.

About myself, well im 15 and have been interested and believed in the paranormal for years. I experienced seeing 2 ghost figures 1 of these being in my house which is haunted. The main reason I feel like I could be a medium is because I get these bad chills though me and just start to feel very sensitive and sometimes even start to have tears like I can feel the sprit connecting to me.
One time in school we were talking about how the toilets are known to be haunted and just talking mid conversation I froze and didn't move as I just got chills n felt the tears coming on I honesty felt like the sprit(s) were trying to contact me. When we were discussing this we were not even near the haunted area.
I get these chills in my house and sometimes just in random places and it honestly feels like the sprit world are trying to contact me.
Have anyone else felt like this? And what does it mean?

An answer would be great, thanks for reading, Ben
