Re: Sleep paralysis survey
How old were you, when you first experienced SP ?
I can't remember, it's happened so many times, I'm not afraid of it anymore and I try to play around with it.

Do you sleep on your back ?
No. I never have been able to sleep on my back. It happens on my side, it's most scary when I sleep on my stomach, because I can't really see anything but the pillow.

Prior to SP,did you believe in paranormal/spiritual ?
Not really. I believe in a lot of things, but I won't say I know what they are.

Are you able to speak/shout out ?
Nope.

Are you aware right away you are experiencing a SP episode ?
Yep. It usually happens on the end of a very lucid dream or a dream I don't know is a dream.

How long does it last for ?
A minute at most.

Are you prone to this - onset of sleep or during ?
During and ending I'd say. It's usually closer to when I'd be getting up anyway.

Do you experience any "sensations"..please explain ?
Most just the obvious paralysis, not being able to move or speak. I have auditory hallucinations, I guess you could call them. I usually always hear footsteps behind me, even if behind me is a brick wall.

Do you visually see anything during an episode ?
Never have.

are you aware Audily during SP ?
If you mean sound, yes.

What do you personally believe SP to be ?
I really have no idea. The thing that gets me is that it happened one time while my ex g/f was watching me sleep. She said my eyes were closed and I just looked normally asleep. Which is weird because I could see her and the room...through my eyelids?

Do you think there is a connection to SP and the paranormal ?
I'm sure it could be classified as paranormal, yes.

Have you encountered any para experiences in your life ?
Never. I've never seen a ghost and I've been researching haunted sites for years.

Do you take any prescribed/illegal drugs on a regular basis..DO NOT GIVE DETAILS IF YES
No.

Do you suffer from any mental health issues ?..DO NOT GIVE DETAILS IF YES
Not that I know of, haha.
