RE: Incubus? Succubus? or a Parasonia?
(Look this up with wikipedia, it wont let me post links here) For many years, I thought myself to be haunted because I could see and interact with these shadow people. It was after a sleep study by one of the most respected sleep experts in the world (to discover that at only 130 pounds, I have sleep apnea) that he informed me that the shadows I saw and interacted with were these hallucinations. Now, I am not going to say that everyone that sees a shadow person has HH, however, they do occur in a huge percent of the population. At least one half of everyone will have at least one HH during their lifetime. And yes, it can scare the hell out of you. I believe in the paranormal, absolutely, but I don't believe everything weird is paranormal or ghost activity. I prefer to debunk before I believe, but when all normal answers are exhausted, we have to consider the possibility of the paranormal. Hypnogogic Hallucinations fall under parasomnias, which is why I mention this here. If anyone has questions, they are welcome to PM me. |
