Hastings Castle,Built by Robert the count of Eu in 1069, much of Hastings Castle in East Sussex has fallen into the sea, but what remains is haunted by the sounds of dorges, rattling chains, and agonizing screams. Some say the sea is not destroying but rebuilding it, for the most frequent apparation here is the castle itself, hovering outn over the ocean, restored and renewed with banners flying in the breeze. Near by Hasting Caves contain ghosts from the Battle of Hastings.(Notes taken from month self tour in 2000 A.D.)

Full history of the castle can be found here at Great-Castles.com

Ghostly sightings include a woman who appears where the jousting tournaments were held and also Thomas Beckett has been seen wandering the grounds.

For an example of motte and bailey castles, click here.

What would you do if you knew nothing about me, yet I said that I'd protect you with my life, then died doing just that and later you discovered I was someone you would've hated had our paths crossed under different circumstances?

It's all just one big *facepalm* around here.

I heart Sandra Bullock.

England look's to be so interesting with all the castle's, and historic site's.I love the sound of the english people's voice. To me the english people express it with a artistic tone, and excellence that i rarely get to hear. If anywhere on Earth there were genuinely haunted location's, England's castle's, and old building's would be on top of the list. imo

Proper English speak is good but there many accents to English just like in the States. Accents is weird in the UK the older folks can pretty much determine your clan social standings and education by just how you pronounce something.

But what happens if the other half doesn't quite like them as well as you do?
