Istadan, Thank you very much. I saw crosses of this type at a cemetery today. I was unable to read the tombstones, as they were not in my native language. The crosses intrigued me. Thanks again for your assistance.

The three-bar cross with the bottom horizontal bar slanted is typically and strictly the Muscovite cross. It's a Muscovite cross from Rus-Ukraine.

It's a Russian Orthodox Cross. There is also the Cross of Lorraine which also has a 3rd bar across.

Since our Order is based in France, we use the Cross of Lorraine.

oh??? ummm... now I am confused... I thought it said Greek Orthodox??? Can it be both? isn't there a Russian Orhtodox?
