I know this is not very paranormal, if not at all but I just can't seem to find any info on this so I am hoping that someone here might share some light on this topic for me...
Ever since I can remember, my dreams are always very vivid as I always remember them clearly afterwards, and some time I find myself able to control them (lucid dreams). Anyway lately cats have been appearing in my dreams a lot. Most time when I see cats in my dreams the experience is usually sad (nothing horrible), yet the last two night have been quite the contrary.
The first dream is I am living in an apartment, and outside I see these cats that has no home so I took them in and care for them. The next thing I see is one of the cat (black, which I am very fond of) stood up literally and was wearing pants, she was sort of modelling it for me and I thought....rather felt odd yet it seem to be a normal thing....???
The second dream seem very real as I was drifting in and out of sleep. I keep getting these brush of fur on the leftside of my checks, which I just ignore until the third time I felt something jumb on to my be and lay down right next to my head, so I open my eyes and looked to the left and I see this brown cat lying there looking so comfortable...I tthought 'what the'... because I don't have any cats ever in my house. While this was happening I was feeling everthing as if it I was in reality but then I woke up???
I am really curious as to why cats keep appearing in my dreams...does any body know or think what that means?

Honestly, I am not a dream expert, so I can't offer you much. Most dreams are reflections of ourselves, with other things in the dream representing those reflections.
However, I do know that cats have been associated with the paranormal, largely due to legends. In Salem, Massachusetts during the Witch Trials of the 1600's, many cats were assumed to be "familars" of witches and were killed on sight. In Ancient Egypt, cats were revered in many societies, with certain goddesses taking on the form of a cat (such as Bastet, whom an entire society was built around).
I'm not sure why exactly you have been dreaming about this, but I do know most answers lie within the dreamer. Sometimes you just have to do some soul-searching to determine what the dream means to you.

Good subject... cat's do seem to have a lot of history in witch related thing's and ancient thought.

Everytime my mother dreams of a cat that's hissing theres usually death, same with rats, and loosing teeth....

My grandma said that about teeth also wonder where that tale originated from.
I heard somewhere that if you dream about animals and they were friendly that means good friends around you.But on the other hand if you dream about mean animals it means you have enemies close by or false friends

I've done some research regarding what you mention about the goddess Bastet and found it really interesting, and I never would have thought anything about witches and familiars, though I have heard of it through my readings about nature spirits.
Will it a good interpretation (Roland), well at least I know I'm surrounded by good people!!
