Something strange happened to me yesterday.It was very late at night I was going home from a friend.There was nobody around me as it was so late but one man in front of me..maybe like 2 feet in front of me.I followed him and for a second I looked down on my shoe.When I looked up again he was not there!I got so scared. The street was wide and there were no houses or something where he could go.And even if he could he couldn't turn somewhere because it was like a second that I didn't watch him.He was in his 30s.Tall,a bit of beard..I remember now I looked him and wondered why he has a winter hat while it was warm..So what is your opinion,and did anybody have similar experience?

I've had chance encounters like that...at least that is what I call them. Someone is there...looks out of place, and your attention is diverted..and they're gone.
I don't know, it could be that our attention is diverted longer than we think...or maybe we're remembering it wrong..but I know how strange it feels when it happens.

It's times like these that make me really wonder if the theory of the parallel Universe might be correct. Or, if our dreamworld somehow crosses over into the Earthly dimension. I have had similar things like this happen to me and I honeslty just don't have an explanation.

I don't know if you you saw my thread about The String Theory and the paranormal, but that's one of the assumptions of The String Theory is that there are an infinite number of parallel universes and that they occasionally overlap one another. It's one of the justifications that I use, for myself, for unexplained phenomena.

We were walking through road underpass which is straight and very long and no option to turn right or left.He would have to run away from me for a few minutes to get out of my sight.I already thought about any logical thing but I couldn't find it.

I like Lady K's suggestion of the parallel universe. I admit, it's not something I know a lot about..but I get the jist of it. And it would make sense...especially since there are those times when there really was no other place for the person to go.

I always felt some energies when they get close to me or spirits or what they are I don't know,but this never happened like this to be a person.One question..maybe it will be stupid but.. if he is from a parallel universe or I am to him from mine,how come he didn't realize that he isn't in his environment?
And thanks for the link, I will definitely watch it and tell my impressions.

Have to agree with you here SG ... is the only thing that makes any sense. I am familiar with it but not as much as I need to be unless it was a full apparition on a residual haunt that used to walk that road.

2 feet seems to be awfully close to follow a stranger! Also, was there anybody else around? Or just you two? Also, if he was from a parallel universe, it may have very easily had the same streets, roads, and underpass as ours and that's why he didn't realize he was in a parallel universe. I've sometimes wondered if I've wondered into a parallel universe without realizing it.
