James RE: Electronic voice phenomenon on the radio? - Tina Evelina - 04-15-2010 12:22 PM In our subconsciousness there are so many things unmanufactured. They might come up through memorys, like maybe a song was playing on the radio which reminded him of his girlfriend or the other person and his mind started playing tricks on him. The mind is very powerful. RE: Electronic voice phenomenon on the radio? - scarygirl67 - 04-15-2010 12:56 PM I'm thinking it has to do with radio frequencies mixing with those of cell phones or landlines. I know when I was a kid, our television constantly got interference from a ham radio operator that lived behind us. Right in the middle of watching TV, and we would hear these voices coming over the program. Dad knew what it was right away. We would get the same interference on our radios and telephones. RE: Electronic voice phenomenon on the radio? - Bracket - 04-15-2010 01:13 PM Yeah, it sounds like mixing frequencies. My computer speakers actually pick up radio and cell phone conversations frequently. I was trying to provoke an objection out of them so that we could argue (of course I was the only one that knew it wasn't serious, so I got a lot of laughs out of aggravating other people.) I've read other people's accounts of electronic devices acting strangely, and they weren't even plugged into a wall outlet, or batteries for that matter. All things considered, I'd say something you heard on the radio was a coincidence, since you only had your mind to record what you were "hearing." I think our brains "cut and paste" things together to make some kind of sense out of what is more likely to be chaos..., a lot like a game we played called "telephone." By the time the original message made it around the circut, the original message was badly corrupted or became something completely different. jeff RE: Electronic voice phenomenon on the radio? - parasearcher - 09-07-2010 01:45 PM Personally, I've never heard evp from a radio, unless of course you count the ghost box or Frank's box ? Spirit are quite capable of manipulating any type of electronics, but you always have the possibility of over-lapping stations, or cb radios. However, it's usually very easy hearing the difference between evps, and sound contaminants. Then again, convincing anyone else of the difference would be another matter. |
