seeing auras - CharlieCorse - 03-15-2010 02:07 PM

One of the things you do when you begin to actively work with energy is to begin to notice peoples' auras.

I only recently started being able to do this again (a little) and I was wondering who else can see other peoples' auras.

Also there is a place here that claims being able to photograph your aura. Anyone have any experience with that?

I would love to be able to see people's auras. I've tried to teach myself, but haven't had any success yet. I can dowse for auras-- holding rods and watching them cross each other as I approach people and uncross as I move away.

I've heard of Kirlian photography capturing auras, but I understand that there's doubt as to whether it's really the aura that's being shown or some side effect.

Which is why I haven't forked out the money to try it yet. I had an interesting experience a couple of nights ago. I went to a reading session by writer Ian Rankin and was seated about 10 rows from the front. My attention was focused on the satge but I could see from time to time bright blue waves of energy washing over a few people. It wasn't the negative impression (in photographic terms) left on my retina. It was a more active glow and it would appear and disappear regularly like a pulse and it was only a couple of individuals I saw this on. Perhaps they were more grounded to their energy?

I think you mentioned in one of your posts you were into this. Ive had a interest in this lately and millions of chinese practice this daily.Does this relate also to auras?

Healing Qigong (Yi Gong). Healing Qigong (sometimes translated "Medical Qigong") is the preventive and self-healing aspect of Chinese medicine. We are all exposed to stress. Qigong teaches us how to control our reactions to stress so that life events do not cause such symptoms as high blood pressure, frustration, or anxiety. Healthy people practice qigong to become super-healthy. Healers use qigong to prevent "healer burn-out" and to maintain a positive presence.

External Qi Healing (Wai Qi Zhi Liao). Qigong includes a sophisticated system of health assessment and non-contact treatment called External Qi Healing (EQH). The healer learns to tap into a well of healing energy in nature and "funnel" it through his or her body. Unlike some purely intuitive systems, EQH includes exercises that increase sensitivity to energy fields and efficacy of treatment. The more you practice External Qi Healing exercises and meditations, the more effective your healing treatment. External Qi Healing techniques may be used as a stand alone form of wellness treatment or may be combined with massage, acupuncture, Therapeutic Touch, osteopathy, or any other form of body-work. Because treatment is generally performed at a distance from the body, EQH does not violate psychotherapists' professional ethics (which do not allow touching the patient) and is thus an ideal adjunct to body-centered psychotherapy.

Sports Qigong (Wu Gong). In sports and martial arts, qigong is the key to strength, stamina, coordination, speed, flexibility, balance, and resistance to injury. Qigong exercises can improve performance in any sport, improving the golf drive, tackling ability in football, accuracy in tennis, and stamina in swimming.

Spiritual Qigong (Fo Gong, Tao Gong). As a spiritual discipline, qigong leads to self-awareness, tranquillity, and harmony with nature. The spiritual aspect of qigong evolved from Taoism and Buddhism

In a way yes it does. Qi or Chi is the chinese word for energy and Qi Gong practicioners are basically learning to channel their and the universe's energy in various ways. The ones you mentioned are the main ones.

The belief being that not only our body radiates energy but we have several energy enveloppes around us, these are the auras.

The first one and closest to our skin is said to be blue, beyond that there are many different levels, very few people are able to see beyond the second one which shows the colours associated with the different chakra points.

To see auras it is very helpful to work with and on your Chi.

I practice a variation of Qi Gong, known as Chi Neng, I learned it from the master's direct disciple, she was sent to train with him from the age of eight and is a wonderful teacher. I believe that the only other Chi Neng master in the US is called Luke Chan.

Are you practicing a form of Qi Gong?

i can CLEARLY see auras and somehow its not a good thing it tells you how the person really feels so whenever i see a angry ghost i feel like crying cuz its so scary.
you do NOT want to see them its worse then you can ever imagen. picure a ax murderer and have all his anger circleing someone. that is a dangerous aura. it often where i live.

RE: seeing auras - CMF - 06-04-2010 10:20 AM

I used to be able to but havent actually looked at them in a long time.
I absolutely can project energy with my hands though. I love freaking people out with it..
No its not lightning bolts just concentrated heat.

I have seen auras as long as I can remember. I didn't realize what I saw were auras until much later on. I just thought everyone could see what I saw. I don't know how one would go about learning to see auras, but the photographs from the Kilian cameras that supposedly photograph auras, do not appear anything like the auras that can be seen with the eye, from what I have observed. I am curious what it actually is photographing, because it does not appear to be the etheric aura, or even the colored auras that surround things.

I have been doing exercises to be able to do this, I succeed sometimes just a smidge LOL.

I also can project and manipulate energies. That's why I rock at spell work LOL
