I could hear the "Chucky", but with cell phones it is very hard to prove or authenticate. I live in a haunted location, and talk to my son in Texas (I'm in SC), about every Sunday. I always use a land-line phone when we talk, and I seldom talk to him without hearing evps. I have recorded some of our conversations, and gotten good evps every time. Not bragging but they are better and clearer than the one you posted. I can hear them as we talk, but he never hears them on his end.

Parasearcher, I'm curious how you could rule out the possibility of other party interference when talking on a land line.

I don't guess it could be ruled out, but when you've had the same line for 10 years and never heard any interference, why would it start then ? There's a lot less crossed parties with land lines than cell phones.

Hi, I forgot to add the real reason land lines are better than cells, as far as contamination. Land lines use practically all wire, and very little is transferred by air. The cell phone is opposite, practically all of it's signals are transferred through the air, so there are more chances for contamination.

While cell phones are really bad for intermittent signals how many homes use wired phones? Most use cordless phones in their homes and they are once again open to interference and bleed over. Now they are getting better but lets look back at them. 46/49MHz the first cordless then replaced with 900MHz still not a very good phone. Then we go to 2.4GHz which opened up the distance between channels this helped. Then the 5.8GHz which uses a split frequency with still using the 2.4. These while better still have short comings. We now have the D.E.C.T. Phones which operate in the 1880 MHz–1900 MHz range. They are the best yet, and seem to be bleed over free. Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications are great by themselves but once again if one person is still using the old technology then you are still open to unexplained noises. I will add that cordless phones are also able to be listened to on some scanners and if the person your talking to has an older phone you are also coming across. So until everyone is updated voices can still be heard.

I'm very sorry I showed my stupidity and commented. I had never had any unexpected voices until this instance, and none since.

First don't apologize, we are all here for the same reason. We learn from each other. There is no such thing as a stupid comment, we learn and move forward. We will teach you some things and we will also learn from you.

Exactly! I couldn't have said it better myself.

Thanks, but my point was, that a landline is better than a cell, as far as contamination or cross over. I never said it was perfect. They're not like the old party lines, where someone could interrupt at any time, but they have improved.
