Well, how to begin? I have always seen ‘things’ moving in my peripheral vision before, but whenever I look, of course, ‘it’ was gone.
AT 2:22 AM, I was heading for the bathroom, as I was walking towards my bedroom door, which for some reason was open, we usually shut it at night, I saw plainly, a human shaped figure. It was tall and slender and looked the world like a freestanding shadow! It was not reflected off of a wall, like shadows you see of yourself which must have a surface to be seen on, wall, or floor, correct.
This ‘shadow’ was not reflected off of anything, it was just there, a translucent figure that I could see through! As I watched, which only took a few second, ‘it’ glided from left to right across the span of the kitchen door, which is directly across the foyer from my bedroom door. It was gone.
My first thought was, someone is in the house, because we have been burglarized before while we slept. Well, I get angry and hurry to confront this intruder! I switched on the kitchen lights and searched. The back door was shut and locked; my computer was still there, (my first worry) but no one else.
I searched the remainder of the house, nothing was amiss! After returning to the bed, I thought on what I had seen. Then it occurred to me, by moving from left to right, it had nowhere to go except into a wall! I then realized that it was a Shadow Person! This was the first I have ever seen one on full frontal view!

Have you seen anything else in this house? The time may be of no factor, but it seems odd being 2:22. It reminds me of a shadow my daughter saw in our old house in the bathroom. It, too, did the side to side thing, then flew in the wall that would lead to our closet. I always woke up at 3:15 a.m. in that house.
Notice how, if we are all crazy and what we are seeing is, in fact, from our imaginations, everything is so similar?

Until last night, I have been skeptic of Shadow People but no longer. I found no logical explanation for what I saw. The reason I know the exact time is the digital clock that sits on my dresser. It is the first thing I see when I open my eyes.
It is strange how our two episodes are similar. I am still in awe of it.

How exciting, your first shadow person encounter! I have been noticing more and more things out of the corner of my eye's here lately, no full on person yet. After you went back to bed and thought about what you had seen, how did it make you feel? Has there been happenings there before or is this new? ie: spirits and such. Just curious.

Yes, after I thought about it a minute, I did become frighten. But also realized it has probably been here awhile and so far nothing has happened, so I felt better.
It must be the one that opens the cupboard door while I am looking at it, and rolls the ink pens across my desk, and knocks over my tiny figurines I have sitting just under the PC monitor. These things has occurred in plain sight, not seen from the corner of my eye.
There's been other sightings of a little girl that we always mistake for Lauren to only learned later it could not have been her. But I do not think they are one and the same because of the height differences.

Yeah, there's been much which I always doubt until I see no plausible explanation for it.

Well they sound mischievous and not dangerous in anyway. They may be trying to let you know they are there. So you can acknowledge them and go on or claim your home from them and send them packing.

Wow!!! that's completely blown my mind and i completely believe you and i have no doubt whatsoever that you are telling the truth.
OMG how do you feel now? are you frightened or just still in awe? I know when i've had paranormal experiences i cannot do nothing for days afterwards - just on another planet thinking about it all the time.
I kind of want to see something, but as many say, be careful what you wish for. Do you think this was residual Pitch? Did you feel threatened by it in any way?
