AxA, what you said is one of the reasons I stopped going to church. I just do not believe in my heart that to accept someone for who they are and to love them is in any way bad.

I don't think they really care what the Vatican said, they have nothing to do with the Catholic church and they don't like it.
They seem really conservative in church, but outside they curse. To them cursing is okay as long as you don't use their God's name in vain

I am sure there are some very good people that go to this church, and I would like to think they have good intent.
I believe this...God wants us to see ourselves through His eyes. There are no exceptions in God's love...I believe that with all my heart. However, in my opinion, many churches have lost sight of that in favor of a list of do's and don'ts. Of course there needs to be guidance...but judgement seems to have replaced that in so many denominations...JMO.
My relationship with God is personal. I don't adhere to what a church tells me. That doesn't mean I don't have respect for a lot of the people I know that go and enjoy it. I just have too many issues with churches in general.

That's why i don't believe in religion at all. I'm willing to believe in a higher power but the church is just too contradictory to make any sense. The best thing you can do is believe in what you want to believe, and as long as you're happy and true to yourself and your own beliefs, that's what really counts.

I am agree with you..... I dont believe in any god.I believe God is one and it lies in our inner hearts.we have God inside us..Our heartbeat is god....so we should do good for others..
