Thought I'd post this anyway Cass, its one that haunts me now. The grave is that of Obadiah Morman died 1907 aged 64 and his wife Julia. I hope he finds peace & God rest his soul. It saddens me to think that some of us have our shot at physical life, and then spend eternity in limbo in a gravestone. Makes you think?

Hopefully that is only an imprint and Mr. Morman has moved on. Could not imagine for an eternity being stuck in a tombstone! Always enjoy seeing your photos, please post more.

I am glad you did Starchie, I kept it to myself, but was hoping you would bring it out. I am not sure about being stuck in the stone or just showing up better against it. Soulfly knows more about it than I do.
I do like how you enhance it, its really something!..

I get such a sad feeling looking at that picture. Not depressed or anything, but that almost beautiful sadness. Poignant, I think is the word I'm looking for. Thanks for posting it.

Well, guess I'll third that question. I have no idea who this person is and couldn't even find them on Google. I also agree that it just looks like the tombstone needs cleaned. And, since it is over a 100 years old now, it's bound to have a few stains.

I'm sure a good pressure wash would clear off most of it as the green tint at the top is probably mould of some kind.
