floating demon nun
Sponsor Messages I would like to discuss a experience that happened to me at the age of 17, but has stayed with me for years. During this time, I started experimenting with black magic, meditating on satanic mantras, reading satanic texts much to the horror of my family (christians). Anyway, I wasn't sure what I was doing, but one night, I awoke, I was soooo hot, I felt like I was burning up. And slowly, I saw what looked like a black mass floating in through my now open window. It slowly moved towards me. Its a feeling of terror I will take to the grave. As the black shape grew closer I could see that it was a Nun, but she was a skelleton, or something like that. Something was just not right and undead and evil looking about her. She extended a boney finger and touched my forhead, and dissapeared much quicker than when she came in. I suddendly snapped out this state, covered in sweat. I swear it wasn't the same as sleep. Something seriously ODD happened to me that night, can anyone shed any light on this bizzare experience of mine? My Dad told me it was a dream, but it wasn't, I was awake! I just couldn't move! When i awoke i was in the same position with my eyes still open! |

I wasn't mental or anything, I know this happened! And looking in this forum I can see there are others! The feeling of a evil presence is overwhelming! This isn't some sleep thing, I have to know what this was! I was never really evil, just messing around with stuff I knew too little about. I didn't even believe in it at the time. but perhaps it was some kind of warning, but this was no angel, I remember the smell of death. |

RE: floating demon nun
That really does seem like a warning to me. I am going to assume that you are no longer practicing the dark arts? Because if you decided to stop at that point, I believe that was a wise choice. No, I don't think it was a dream. I think you needed to be scared into realizing what path you were on and where it was leading you. Thank you for such an interesting story. It had me scared, and I don't scare that easily anymore.

Actually no, I became worse, after everyone told me it was a dream I started to take drugs and engaged more heavily in hatefull practises, hoping to block it out, so its safe to say if it was a warning, I didn't heed it. Pleased to say I am better now, but who knows what happened. Sorry to have scared you, but just thinking about it screws me up, sometimes I can't sleep thinking about it, like now infact. Sometimes I get flashes when I suddenly turn my head, but nothing like this. |

I'm glad things are better for you now. Self-medication is how most people block things out, so you're certainly not alone there. I like what dyingenglish said about an omen. Showing you just how bad things can get.

Theres no way I would just "see" a dead nun float through my window, I have no past of mental illness and I don't think I'm stupid, nor do I have any reason to make it up. I just wished my parents listened to me. They just thought I was crazy. |

RE: floating demon nun
Its the Old Hag syndrome all the way. It can and does feel real and that you are awake. But you aren't actually awake, the experience is so frightening because the victims, although paralyzed, seem to have full use of their senses. In fact, it is often accompanied by strange smells, the sound of approaching footsteps, apparitions of weird shadows or glowing eyes, and the oppressive weight on the chest, making breathing difficult if not impossible. All of the body's senses are telling the victims that something real and unusual is happening to them. Rather than ghosts or demons, however, there is a scientific explanation: "sleep paralysis"
To anyone who this happens to you swear your awake and you actually think it was real. This happened to me and I swore it was real for a few years until I discovered what it was and the cause. I studied it to find answers and by doing this actually discovered what caused mine. The only time I experienced it was when I slept in one back room, its a natural fear cage with extremely high EMF's The fuse box, and 220 lines running over head in that room. The EMF's altered the magnetic field in my brain and triggered this. When investigating paranormal don't rely on assumptions, base your decisions on evidence. |
