The notion of picking one time of the year to be decent to other people is obscene because it's actually validating the notion of being miserable wretches the rest of the year. |

RE: Anyone Else A Psychic??
A gf I have been dating, who is really gifted, has been talking a lot about buying baby furniture because she has been having dreams about the number 3 as it relates to the number of chairs we'll need to have around the table sometime in the future. This just started out of the blue, as has her buying a lot of various blue clothing, not just blue jeans. She is quite rational, though a worshiper of the earth goddess and all things maternal. Her paintings are showinf lots of blue, worked in with the number 3. I wonder if there is something she should investigate further?

A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything. ~Friedrich Nietzsche Feel free to tell me what you need and I will tell you how to get by without it. ~Mom For the believer, both the evidence of science and the failure of science to explain the paranormal is all the proof they need. For the sceptic, no evidence no matter how scientific will ever be proof enough. ~John Zaffis |

RE: Anyone Else A Psychic??
I think we have a little bit of "psychic abilities" in all of us. Nope, can't back it up, cite a web site, or another location to back it up. It's just an opinion. I have a "gift", sorta, "psychic", I don't think so but I do get hints of various things that might or did taken or take place and know nothing about the event. For some reason, I am better than average picking out when wives of my friends are going to have a baby.As in date, time, sex of the baby, just sorta odds and ends but I do make some money betting with the fathers to be on all/ or some of the above cited points.Anything else is well beyond my abilities.

I also think that we all have the ability. i live with the (gift/curse) every day!!!
Pride and Fear always distort the truth into either a false sense of security or a lack of confidence and diminished self-worth.

RE: Anyone Else A Psychic??
I tend to agree with what you say about everyone having just a bit of psychic ability. I think there are those that are truly in tune with that gift...and I know what you mean about not having a whole lot to actually "back that up"...sometimes when I have an opinion on something, it is based on a gut feeling of what sounds right to me.

RE: Anyone Else A Psychic??
Sometimes like once I was lookin' at toys at WalMart and I funnily laugh whispered to myself like I knew it was coming; "Welcome to your local Wal-Mart." Like it'd say on the intercom. The next thing it says is "Welcome to your local Wal-Mart."
