Just the spooks?
Sponsor Messages Most people just tell me its the shadows of trees and perhaps creatures. I highly doubt it I just get that sensation like they really are human, or once was. |

They could be curious it's true, however if they are not and have evil intentions then it could mean that you have really good guardian(s).

Rarely do they ever get any closer it just seems to me that they are being nosy and looking in on the camp activity. This type of SP is called a "sentinel". They usually hang out evenly spaced throughout the edge of a wooded area. It might mean that the area you camp in is a supernatural "power point", or a place where energy peaks/gathers. |

RE: Just the spooks?
It's difficult for me to imagine this as I have not experienced anything like this.
Some thoughts that come to mind are shadows. I don't have a set opinion on what to make of "feelings" or "sensing" in anyway yet. Sometimes, your environment just cause you to feel a way due to psychological associations. But then again, I have heard of people who get these sort of "perceptions" in a place that would usually be calm and relaxing- their room, in a sunny place, etc. |

Yeah, i think it's just the forest. The human mind has actually evolved to stay out of the woods, so now it's a mysterious place in our subconscious, causing our brains to see something that may not actually be there.

Possibly a mixture of that and our ability to see things in patterns- pareidolia. I remember listening to Michio Kaku on Coast to Coast AM a while back (don't know anyone's opinion on the show here, but I find it enjoyable and entertaining) and he mentioned something about how we adapted that kind of thing to help us survive when we were still living as hunter-gatherers. |

Sometimes that happens to me.but most of the time I'm not by trees. It's possible that it is just shadows of trees and animals but it also could be shadow people. When I lived in Maryland,I used to go camping in Pennsylvania in an area that Native Americans lived so I guess that it also could be ghosts of them.Because it can get loud where I used 2 camp,I was always afraid that the ghosts would get angry.I don't know why but it's just a feeling I get.

RE: Just the spooks?
I've actually felt positive about my experiences camping and fishing in different parts of Illinois and a few other places I've been fortunate enough to visit...................and they usually involved sensing spirits of some kind.
When I would be in a wooded area or fishing along the dam, I could sense I wasn't alone, even if I was. Especially if I was alone, I could sense them. And if it was spirits who at one time were human, I never felt anything negative from them. I tend to think that every living thing has energy. Very often I assumed it was that energy I was feeling. But it never felt like a bad thing.
