Hey, im at work and didnt get to read the new posts yet but i have another idea i want to put in before i forget.

What if they are not what most of us think of then as but just living people having an OBE and thats how they look to us when they are in that state. Those who see them are more sensative or have more of a connection to them. this is a different direction but something ive never heard before. Maybe someone else has heard of it??

That's an interesting thought. I do know when I had a roommate who was into astral projection, there was one night I saw her get up and walk out the door...and when I walked by her room, she was still sleeping. I don't know what it was I saw, and I'm certainly not ruling out that it was some kind of trick my eyes played on me....but your post reminded me of that "hmmm" moment.

Well so far no negative energies but have seen an increase in seeing them. Usually its concentrated to my room (between two bookshelves), the play room, the garage and the back of the main living room.

I dont think daytime or night time has any effect on when we see them, i feel the same way about ghosts or spirits. You can see them during the day just like you can at night. Personally the only difference i feel is we might be a bit more sensative to it at night than during the day

I agree with you about how the time of day has no real effect on them. I also agree that we are more sensitive to them and other things at night as well.

Awesome thread! I've actually wondered at shadow people myself. I've seen quiet a few of them (when I was younger I'd brush them off as being shadows or my eyes playing tricks on me) however I normally felt a watchful tense air sometimes irritated air. I haven't run into negative ones (knock on wood heh). Anywho! I had once asked my childhood best friend about them (I deeply trust her opinion~she had alot of experiances in the paranormal/psychic range) she had mentioned them not wanting to scare me thats why I could only see shadow. My childhood bestfriend and I have always shared a connection which can only be sumed up as psychic (when I mentioned it being odd to her she told me we were kindred spirits~which comforted me) I had mentioned how neat it would be if "the shadow people" were giving information back and forth about us and sharing it with us. She said she got chills when I said that. I thought it'd be kinda neat if thats what one of the things they could do was.

I'd like to see a definition of what a 'shadow person' actually is?. There are many stories and claims being put forward but as far as I can see there's no evidence being presented other than anecdotes.
I'd like a definition of a Shadow person. I need to see the product description before I buy into the product. I need a positive before I can say I believe in a negative.

Well when I speak of shadow people from my personal experiances maybe different then others. I litterally mean that their form is a silhouette of a human that is the color of a shadow (black, heh). I am unable to make out any defining features on that human form aside from the shape of the silhouette. I have only seen what I assume is a man silhouette although no hat or cane. I've heard stories of having a hat and cane often times. You should google "shadow people" I'm sure you'd get alot of answers to a "define what they are". Don't mean to sound negative I just know I don't have nearly close to alot of answers ^^

I've researched shadow people for many years and I have a full understanding of what they are and why people see them. They're vague, often dark, shapes usually glimpsed fleetingly and as such are the result of subjective observation - especially if apriori belief exists in the mind of the witness in which case Confirmation Bias is a factor in sightings.

Ok, let me put my two cents into this, I cannot say for sure if there are "good" shadow (creatures, people, animals etc.) because I have not had the opportunity to witness them, the two kinds I have seen were the in front of you, the shape – it looked like a cutout form in black paper of a human, no eyes, mouth or any features and the darting types that I like to call runabouts. With the runabouts I never felt threatened or felt that they were hostel, a little put back, a little fear but that was my own mind playing with me due to the fact of being caught off guard. Now as far as being a dimensional being, that would be a good idea, but my guess is that they are more of the elemental type.
