Ed and Lorraine Warren Interview Excerpt
Sponsor Messages I wanted to post this excerpt from an interview with Ed and Lorraine Warren and get your guys' input: -- Q: I understand… Ed I’d like to ask you what the most horrifying experience was that you’ve ever had. Can you tell me about that? A: The MOST horrifying experience I don’t even talk about. It happened to Lorraine and me when we were up in a remote area of Canada. I never discuss it because just by thinking about it, and giving it recognition it could start up again, or it could come to you. The only thing I will say was that it was an attack on us- in our car- it was brutal and lasted for over five hours. That’s all I’ll say about it. -- What could that experience have been. I know those two have a reputation for being frauds, but if they are telling the truth, what kind of experience could they have had? |

RE: Ed and Lorraine Warren Interview Excerpt
I do know that they have a story about a phantom car nearly running them off the road and killing them, then chasing them for awhile. I don't recall the incident being reported to have lasted for five hours though.
Also, not everyone considers them to be frauds. A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything. ~Friedrich Nietzsche Feel free to tell me what you need and I will tell you how to get by without it. ~Mom For the believer, both the evidence of science and the failure of science to explain the paranormal is all the proof they need. For the sceptic, no evidence no matter how scientific will ever be proof enough. ~John Zaffis |

That being said, as LK mentioned, I do recall hearing about an incident in a car, however I don't recall any time being mentioned. I personally like this story of an interview with the Warrens. Of course it looks at it from a more scientific light.

RE: Ed and Lorraine Warren Interview Excerpt
Much of thier work seems to be sincere and have credence. Unfortunately the hoax of Amityville has tainted the credibility of all of thier work to my thinking. Also I find it sad that the guy from Paranormal State brings out Lorraine once in a while to try & add credibility to his shtick. The only wrong questions - are those that go unasked |

RE: Ed and Lorraine Warren Interview Excerpt
The Warrens are certainly a hot button topic in the paranormal field, and I will say UNR, that was one of the kinder articles I have seen written about them that criticized their methods. I'm no fan of theirs by a longshot, but it's nice to see a writer that doesn't get into the name calling that so many do.
In regards to the link that has the comment in the original topic of this thread...since Ed goes into no more detail about it, I have no idea what could have happened. RE: Ed and Lorraine Warren Interview Excerpt
What struck my interest with this article was that they were talking about demons and this came up in the conversation. I was thinking maybe one of them got possessed or something? They were in the mountains, so could there have been an attack from a cryptoid or something?
