RE: wierd experiences
Tracy, hope you don't mind but I cropped this pic to enlarge the area you were indicating.

This doesn't look like a person to me though, I was shocked that it looks like a totem pole.

I also think it would be beneficial to do some research on the land.

Tracy, you don't sound dumb at all! If you need an answer, ask the question Icontexto-emoticons-04-032x032

I would first go to the county recorder (property records) which are often located at the clerks office or town hall. Call the county municipal courts office and they can tell you exactly where you need to go. Trace the records as far back as you can, write down property owner names and dates, get a copy of the property deed for the land survey measurements and coordinates...and then with that information contact the local historical society. Often the local library will have a section (or whole room) as well dedicated to local history.

You can as well obtain the US Geological Survey for the property from http://www.usgs.gov for free online. I suggest this for every investigation.

One other thing to look at would be the old Indian Trail maps. Just Google to locate the map for your state.

Limestone, quartz, or granite deposits within the Earth that may run through your property. These embedded stones have been found to contribute to the retention of residual energies.

RE: wierd experiences
Tracey, you are not dumb at all! I do research quite a bit, and I get stuck. What you should do is when you are on the webpage for USGS, click on the state you live in..this should take you to a page that has the links for any geological surveys done for your state. Now, I am really bad at reading maps, so this part always takes me a while..but look at the maps of the surveys and compare them to a map of your town (those can be found on Google maps..just google the map of the town you need). Check to see if you can find your area on any of the survey maps. (and if there is an easier way to do this...anyone!...pop in and suggest it because I need to know too!) EDIT TO ADD: Also...there is a "Contact Us" link at the top of the page..don't hesitate to use that and ask for how to find information. Some answers they may have ready for you right then and there..any others take no more than a day or so to be emailed to you. Be sure to include the town you live in and that you are looking for FREE online information.

For pollutant information you can also check the EPA website...this is another thing I recommend in researching a property. There are pollutants such as benzene and tolulene that can cause headaches, dizziness, and in some cases, can make a person feel they are experiencing something paranormal (such as 'strange' feelings and sensations or unexplained illnesses). All you have to do is type in your zip code (found underneath the "Info Where You Live" and the US MAP), click "Go" and you will have any reports available of environmental concerns in your area.

RE: wierd experiences
Tracey, You look stressed in your pictures, like you are missing sleep. I would suggest that you use prayer and blessings on your home. Do you have access to white sage for cleansing? Get several bundles from a metaphysical shop and burn them and close the portals which are windows, doors, archways, mirrors and all other reflective surfaces, such as TV and hanging plates, exits of pipes or wiring, washer and dryer. go around the room starting at the top floor and work from outside to the inner door making a circle around each with the smoke of the burning sage, saying, I close this portal to entry of any evil energy. As each room is done go to the middle and waif the sage around to cleanse the middle of the room and bless it. Make sure you do all vents and anything that goes to the outside of the house. It will smell like you have been smoking something funky in the house when you are done, but you should feel a lightening feeling to the house. Order of levels is usually the top floor then the basement then the main floor. If you have stairways close and bless the entryway to the top hall and the entryway to the basement as you come up from there.

The things you are saying that have happened are what I would consider evil energy, if you dont find any other causes that are natural occurring. You said when you said prayers that it cleared out for a day and you felt safe going home. I have found that to get rid of evil energy and keep it gone, in some cases we need to keep up with the prayers and blessings. Someone in the family may be brining it in unknowingly or re energizing the evil energy.

It wouldn't hurt to say a prayer of protection around you, your son, daughter and husband, even if he doesn't believe in it or see it. There may be a reason he doesn't see it.

Something like "I ask the white light of the Universe for protection to surround me, head to toe, above and below and every where in between, protect my physical body, my soul, my emotional and spiritual from evil." Do this in name for each person in the house. You can do this for your family, you dont have to have the children participate nor your husband. Then ask the Universe for the white light of protection for your entire house to drive out and keep out all evil energy, allowing no more entry for any evil energy or intent. I ask the Universe to extend a pillar of protective white light on the north, south, east and west corners, above and below and every space in between of this house. Thank you for the protection and God Bless. Then say the Lords Prayer.

Do this every night before bed, if you want for a time do it in the morning as well. See if this alleviated the apprehension for you.

Please keep in touch and private message me with any questions or anything you may want to further discuss. I am not on line regularly so may miss what is discussed on this thread.
Thank you scary girl, I made note of those contact sites and will used them as well. I am not the one who does the research and reading when we work on a project for a historical property or foundation, so hadn't been aware of what our other team member uses prior to research on a historical property.

RE: wierd experiences
celticflame, I don't want to sound disrespectful, but may I ask...what makes you think this is "evil" energy? Couldn't negative energy have some of the same effects?

I know a lot of people that use white sage for cleansing a home, and I know they believe that it works. I certainly see no harm in it, however, it's my opinion that anything burned, sprinkled, or placed is only effective if the person doing this believes that it will work. For those who believe...I have heard a lot of positive feedback about cleansing. The same with prayers and commands.

I fully believe there is something unexplained that people experience...maybe several types of somethings that we have yet to understand. But it's my thought that saying something is evil just from a few words and a picture is jumping the gun a bit.

Tracey, whatever is going on in your home, please know that while members on this forum may differ in their approach or beliefs, many here share a desire to help. I hope you're able to find some answers.

RE: wierd experiences
I have written a PM to Tracey. Evil to me is spiritual, Negative is man made or generated by something other than spiritual. As none of us are there with her, she needs to proceed with all areas. I am also going on what I felt with the pictures and what she said. I did ask her to follow through on looking at any possible energy fields that are created by wiring or other things as well. In the mean time there is no harm in saying protective prayers and doing a cleansing. She has already turned to prayer and it helped her for the day. When she is stopped in the car on the way home and in tears with fear about it, and her cousin wont come over again because of it ... she needs to start doing something to squash and alleviate the fear, which is what ...negative...energy/spirits feed on.
