This video clip shows spiders casting their webs like giant nets over a large area. This one was taken in Greece.

I remember visiting an estate belonging to a marquis up in Inverness, Scotland and we drove by these ethereal woodlands and meadows, where the ground everywhere was covered with a filmy netting of spiders' webs. Incredibly delicate work by such tiny weavers. But I wouldn't want to run helter-skelter through those areas and trip over their webs. Think of the gazillion irate spiders jumping up and down in rage should some hapless person damage their spidery condominium estates. Ooo, my spidey senses are tingling already...!
