The 25-year-old man, who describes himself as a paranormal investigator, later said it “had to be” a ghost, police say. He was arrested last week and charged with disorderly conduct, illegal discharge of a firearm, second-degree reckless endangerment, misusing a 911 call, making a false statement to police, according to NBC Connecticut. He is free on a $5,000 bond and has a Sept. 11 court date.
This isn’t the first time Devaux has reported a supernatural sighting to police. As noted by the Journal Inquirer, police said the man called authorities back in 2011 about a home intruder — but he blamed it on a ghost when a search for the assailant turned up empty.
The police must be skeptics?
