this is a true story:
one day when my friend was over (she has abilitys too) we where talking next to a candle when my mom comes in and i start argueing with her i started geting really mad when the candle holder cracked my friend picked up on what was happening, it some how only made me madder cuz i thought she was takeing my moms side and i was so mad i didn't see the candle holder. then my mom said a certain something and i yelled out "I WISH YOU WOULD JUST DIE!!" then the candle holder pracitcaly EXPLODED and all the glass shards somehow hit my mom and she had to go to the hospital.
can someone please explane what happend here?
To be quite frank... (even though I'm more of a Jade)... the fact it was a glass candle holder is suspect to me. I once had a roommate of mine borrow my glass casserole dish. She put chicken in it and put it in the oven. After about a minute, she remembered to add a little water. I can still remember the ice floe cracking sound and the sudden explosion.
I laughed. My roommate yelled at me... and bought me a new casserole dish.
... I also have a great story of my window shattering like it was "shot" while I was driving home from getting a thermometer after being diagnosed with Pneumonia... It sucked, but that's not the point here.
The point: Glass is very temperature sensitive.
If your candle was lit and had heated the candle holder and a draft from the A/C hit it just right... and if there are any fractures in the glass... KAPOW!
The same concept applies to cracked windows in the Arizona summer... go over a bump, suddenly, you have a crack that spans across the whole windshield.
I'm not doubting the existence of your psychic abilities... I'm just saying that the possibility of your event being explained with scientific method exists as far I know and based on the information you've provided.
the problem with ur suspicion is u didn't ask me if it was being hit my the AC. we thought of that and held the same type of candle in the the same type of holder up to the ac when it was its hottest and nothing. we torched it with a flame trower and dropped it in ice water and nothing it turns out that kinda holder is tempered so even when it shatters the pieces aren't dangerous.
I worked for years in the auto industry and occasionally we would get racks of bad glass in. Some might explode in a shipping rack some might burst a few hours after it was installed.
NiS and spontaneous glass breakage.
In various situations fully-tempered glass may break for no reason. Many factors might cause such spontaneous breakages, but the most common are nickel sulphide inclusions.

The AC was a theory. The information in your latest response is nice, but wasn't included in your original story... but the new information leaves some questions because you also contradict yourself. You claim "when it shatters, the pieces aren't dangerous"... whereas before you said it exploded and the glass shards hit your mom who had to go to the hospital. Which do you mean?
The car window I mentioned above? That was tempered. It imploded and shot glass in my face. I'd say it was pretty dangerous. I have photos of the after-math which I can present as evidence as well. Furthermore, I can tell you all about glass. My husband spend +5-years making giant telescope mirrors (like the
LBT)... which had to be polished down to the accuracy of microns... and he LOVED to share with me everything he learned. Glass is strong, but also fragile.
Also, I would like to borrow your flame thrower. I've been looking for one of my own and haven't been able to find one. I've only seen those "weed burners" at home depot and they're just not big enough... =)
Like I said, I don't doubt your psychic abilities-- you just haven't presented me with any information that I can buy stock into. You shouldn't feel the need to convince me either... Please stop trying to convince me. I wasn't there, so unless you provide information that I am not privy to that can convince me, it's a lost cause. I don't know what to ask. I don't know what circumstances were available... but based on the information provided... I can neither confirm or deny your apparent psychic abilities. I can, however, hypothesize upon things that would cause glass to break. That is what I've done. If you deny my explanation, that's fine with me.
What I'd need from you is more information on the situation...

the candle holder was as simple as u can get with them the shards that hit my mom looked the iceicles hanging from a endge of a roof like in the movies and such. except they where sharper and a whole lot more dangerous. the ones from the test looked like little squares or hexagons and couldn't make me bleed. PLUS my friend claims she senced a large energy spike coming from my when it happened.
Have you tried to duplicate this by focusing your energy on something inanimate to see if the same thing would happen again?? what other abilities are you experiancing if any?? were here to help you

Relax, Jadewik mentioned twice that he or she(sorry, I assume your female Jade, but I don't know for sure), has no doubt in your abilities.
These people are all just trying to help you by offering a solution that doesn't involve your powers causing harm to your mother.
Even if there was NO possible way that it could be explained logically, I would do anything, even lie and make something up in efforts to convince you it wasn't your fault.
That isn't what is happening now though. You're allowed to question people's opinions, that is everyone's prerogative.
But these people are only trying to help.

If I had to guess at this, assuming that there were no scientific factors involved...that it was purely psychic energy and rage involved at this point, I would guess this:
During your rage you simply lashed out emotionally, which caused a temporary lapse in control over your energies...whether you normally can control them or not. In psychics...especially those few that I have known when they were younger and didn't have full control over their abilities, they would sometimes lash out when enraged or upset (like you see on tv shows and movies...though much less dramatic.)
That's just a theory of course, but a plausible one based on the information.
