Sense I already told my experience, I wanted to tell what happened to other people at my grandparents house in the past. These are one of my favorite family ghost tales.

*****************************************************************
As I have written a little bit before in other comments, my two twin cousins are actually one of the first few people to discover my grandparents house is haunted.
It started when the twins were about 3 going on 4. (This was in 1992-1993.)
My grandmother was babysitting them almost everyday. The twins mother, my aunt, was busy with a hectic job.
Anyway, my grandmother was preparing a bath for one the twins, (one was not there that day) and the 1 twin ran up ahead of my gram up the staircase. She waited at the top of stairs for my nanny, and while she was doing that, she was looking over my nanny's shoulder peering at the bottom of the stairs.
Before my nanny got to the first step at the bottom, my cousin yelled:
"Bupa?!"
(Bupa is what we call our grandfather.
)
My grandmother was confused.
"Honey, what do you mean? Bupa went to work, remember? You kissed him good bye."
"Well, than who's that?" she pointed over nanny's shoulder again.
My grandmother said she didn't look behind her right away. But she was scared, but not because she thought a ghost was behind her. (My nanny's never been afraid of ghosts, but she dose believe in them.) She thought someone had broken into the house.
Nanny's said at this point her heart felt like it was up in her throat.
After many seconds later, she turned around. Nobody was no longer there.
She gave my cousin a bath and kinda forgot about for many years until she told the story again to me.
My nanny also told me about how after both the twins were seeing "the white lady" that they warned them of sitting in specific places. A large easy chair in the living room and a rocking chair in the playroom. There was one day when one of my cousins told my grandfather while he was reading his newspaper in the recliner to "not sit there because the white lady sits there."
After a long time and my cousins were in middle school, my nanny got rid of all our old toys and dress up clothes. She was gonna get rid of the rocking chair in the playroom because she didn't want it anymore. She gave it to the twins mother when they were about 12.
Whenever the twins would come to visit, nanny would sometimes ask them if they have seen the white lady recently. They said:
"Ya. Almost every night."
"Really?"
"Yes. I don't really like it. I have to cover my hand over one side of my face when i pass the living room at night to go to the bathroom."
"Did you tell your mother about this?"
"No! Don't tell mum. She would freak!"
My aunt sent the rocking chair back to my grandparents because SHE didn't want it anymore. Now, its no longer in the playroom, its in the living room.
I think back of the times where we had christmas parties at my grandparents. I knew about the fact that guest were sitting in that rocking chair, and it amused me. I always smirked when someone sat in it. Especially little kids. I wasin't scared of the chair, I sat in it at least half a dozen times, I just thought it was funny.
This ones not really a story, but a "event."
My dad had his own small TV in his room when he was a teen. It was the old ones where you had to turn the knob to change the channel and you pushed the knob in to shut it off, an pulled it out to turn it on.
My dad said there was many times when he would be done watching TV for the day and shut the TV off. Before he walked away and sat down, there was a "click" and the TV turned on again. He got up again to shut it off, and was able to sit on his bed before he saw the knob on the TV pull out right before his eyes! He got up and shut it off he third time, and it did it again! Only the third time the knob turned out, AND the channels were skimming back and forth every few seconds. He said I shut it off one more time and left the room.
These 2 are more newer.
In 2009 (4-5 months after I saw the white lady.) I went over there again for a visit. My grandmother had told me that before she picked me up that morning, she was making the bed in the master bedroom and at the corner of her eye saw a black figure leaning on the door frame. When she looked directly at it, it scurried away.
Just a little over a month ago, I got a ouija board while visiting my grandparents. After having a session, my dad, his girlfriend, my dads girlfriends youngest son, and my half brother showed up for a visit.
While all 6-7 of us were talking, (including my nanny) we started talking about the houses haunted past. Nanny started telling the well known stories again, and my dads girlfriend started asking questions.
Right when nanny explained the "white lady," the TV in the room turned the channel and compleatly turned off.
Nanny said: Byron, (Bupa) why did you touch the remote?"
"What the h*** are you talking about? I didn't touch the remote. It's on top of the TV (!!!!!!!) Nanny got up and tried to turn it on again, but it didn't work for the first 3-4 times. Then finally before she touched the "power" button, it turned on by itself. Nothing happened again that evening, but we all thought it was funny and ironic.

Is my family just a bunch of freaks or just lucky? I don't know which. LOL.
