In this field of study and discussion forums a tough hide comes with the territory to survive here.

Yes, I do have a personal opinion of your replies and no I don't know you.
We all form opinions of others, it's human nature. But, this forum is for your opinions and ideas of the supernatural world. This forum IS NOT for personal opinions of others!

LOOK it is perfectly fine to form an opinion of the post and the information contained there in. This is how we all learn and get opened up to other ideas and possibilities. By reading the opinions of others it makes us stop and think, Hey that makes sense (or doesn't make sense) and can help us form better opinions of what we believe.

But, this is not all you did in this case, your opinions went beyond your idea of matrixing photos and to your personal opinion of why the thread was started.

Accusing others of taking "cheap shots" is not voicing an opinion of how the mind can or can not be tricked into seeing things in photos that aren't there! All we are asking is that you keep any personal feelings about the members of this forum to yourself and only post things to help us better understand the supernatural world.

We are not asking that you agree with the opinions and ideas of others!

not that your point about pareidolia ( the correct term in this case ) isn't valid but he DID preface the OP with "imagine if everyone posted matrixed photos here " ...I really don't think it is a stretch to assume there was an ulterior motive behind this thread ...but I have to say I am pleased with his examples as they only serve to exonerate me ....

I have posted similar articles on on lots of paranormal sites, some as much as a few years ago.

Its amazing how people on here assume it was targeted at them.

I think its amazing how people are actually keeping it at the top by all the comments.

Most people post pictures that they think may have paranormal in it for people to look at it and give there opinion. I have been thanked many times over the years for giving the person possible cause. This is the www and a forum if you post something then expect a comment. If your not ready for a comment that you don't agree with maybe you shouldn't post. I see people post pictures that they actually believe contain paranormal ..... the now famous Orb pictures were thought to be paranormal for years by lots of paranormal teams. Its only through entensive testing and experience that people have discovered what causes orbs in pictures. Some camera companies have now made adjustments to cameras so you don't capture them at all. if you see all the floating dust or moisture orbs in your videos you can make a simple device to eliminate them out or ordinary pvc pipe. Ok enough about the orb, that will be another article.
People are learning what causes what in pictures through experimentation.
We experiment all the time in all conditions. If I think I capture something I would be glad to have someone point out an explanation if they have one. A paranormal investigation isn't like what you see on television, they make it exciting. This is the reason the industry is so popular now. Its why states went from less then 10 teams to over 200 and growing weekly. Most last 1-3 years and disappear. You may do over 100 investigations and only capture possible paranormal at one. Usually other causes are to blame. At a recent investigation we had over an hour of direct response answers to our k2 meters and melmeter. Did we rush out and post it on the internet as paranormal? No we studied it and decided we need to go back and do another more in depth investigation just on this. Are we going back to prove its real? No we are looking for other possible causes. To many people feel they have to capture paranormal so they post anything.
I love it when people send me a picture to evaluate and am glad to help people. I do get a few that want you to back them up and get upset when you don't. I am well known around the internet and the paranormal field and have been invited to talk about paranormal photography at paranormal conventions.

So may I make a suggestion for this forum? Possibly add a comments welcome or comments not welcome for this poster. This will allow people to post pictures without hearing negative comments. This will also allow those that want the truth to get comments.

I for one want to add I post in many forums to across the internet and I am giving Care Taker no complaints from me for anything nope I have had no reason to ask for any change of policy to fit me , I like this forum because it seems to promote a change, to be in balance, not following a 'Either your with agreement with us" or "your not" and we will unite against you attitude. I myself would never pose to try to dictate what I deemed needed to be changed to a mans own personal business site. I do however feel this thread has served its purpose for me. U&R I am looking forward to your investigation when you get the time..

Well the results from the investigation are a week off or more. We have thousands of photos to go over, we have video from 8 cameras to review that is close to 30 hours of video. We have 16 hours of audio to review. We have numerous thermal images to go over. I can only post a basic report due to client confidentiality. I will say the place was a large antique shop, with lots of glass and mirrors. This can cause strange effects in pictures so some will require extra work. To all the people that are looking at investigating as fun, reviewing evidence is really tiring and and boring.


But its worth it when you either capture something or see a clients relief when shown the actual causes.

This is an open forum. I am a strong believer in individuality and freedom of speech and I respect anyone's right to post whatever their thoughts are on a subject. As long as it is an appropriate subject for the forum and it is not a personal attack and does not use foul or abusive language I think people should be free to speak whats on their mind here.
