I've talked about this tread before,and also The Haunted Farm.Its comming back as it did last year.I cant take a bath til my husband gets home,I hear things russaling around in things.Its started last night,woke us up at 3:09AM.Big bangs,slamming,dragging of bare feet on a concreate floor.
We have an Alarm systum and Sercurity cameras outside.The montors pick up any movement in the house,we have one thats in the hallway where alot of activaty goes on.We stood real still and the montor was picking up movement,a little red light comes on when theres movement.It came 4 time last night."WOW it picked it up" I did not know it was that sencitive to movements.

Yes, I get stuck when I try and go back and find out the censes,of these origianal owners.Do not know if they got remarried.Plus, it cost money.Still doing the research.My husband says"lets let a team come up and they will do this history check for us".
Can anybody out there answer that for me?Will a team check the history on a place that they are investigating?

ummm what I see on T.V. they would... but I am not too sure about those people lol!
I would think they would so they can figure out things plus verify their findings.... 
That sucks you have to pay for information on your own house! I wish there was another way to find out??? Did you look at the tombstones on your property?
Can anybody tell me if this is a slave quarters.I found out that this land goes back to the late 1700's
Where can I go and find out?I got some info on the cabin,it was here way before the former owners.During the cival war it was a farm,and there were many cabins on the land.
I was looking online at some pictures of former slave cabins...looking at it from the side, I can't really tell....it could be anything. Here is a link to some pictures I found...at the bottom, you can see the cabins themselves.

Thank you for the pics. Scary!!! I would think that it is possible for that to be a slave cabin, but it could also just be a storage shed. What is inside it????

It has one door and theres a room to each side,the one room has a fire place.
Sorry ghia...didn't read all of your post. I would suggest going to the county offices for the records of the property. It should tell you more about what has been built there. As far as finding out if it was slave quarters or not...does your county have a historical society? They should have that information.
