I can't see spirits just sense them... My psychic so far as I discovered were: Sensing spirits, healing, remote viewing (just started on that), I can pick up on how people feel, and sometimes peoples thoughts...

I tried. He said he's waiting for me. I don't know what he means by it.
If he speaks to you again, ask him what he means. He could be waiting for you to walk upstairs, or waiting for you to pass by. He sounds like he could be an earthbound spirit. He could harmlessly be hanging out at the bottom of the stairs. Does he scare you?
No not at all. He's very calm

Extra Sensory Perception I would call picking up on thoughts and moods.

If this helps at all, i am 51, and have always been psychic. I wish i had a place like this to come and talk about things when i was a teenager....i think its great that you can all talk together!!! All of mine started about age 4.....

Eventually, I helped them find peace last fall. But the sinister enitity still followed me. In fact he still does to this day. I don't know his name.
I am sorry this is so long but I have another story.
There was a man who lived above me in an apartment.. In the beginning of last year, I heard a lot of thumping, a scream, then silence. He never came out of the apartment. He was getting notices for not paying rent. Finally the manager walked in and found him dead on the floor right above my room. I see him everyday at the foot of the stairs.

Maybe he is confused about what happened to him, and just needs some kindness.......i would just say hello, and be kind to him untill he figures out what he is to do next... there are many lonely spirits in this world.....Im sure , one day he will be gone, and onto his next journey!!!!

I am relieved that he does not scare you. Maybe he will share more with you as time passes. If anything else happens, please let us know.
To me I see him as just hanging out and waiting for you to come by, kinda like hes waiting for you to visit him because he knows you know hes there. Some of the things you mention sound like Empathy, I have it too.
