i dont even live to far from here, and i have never actually seen it in person. my parents had clear view of the house when they got married lol
Sorry to drag up an old thread. Thanks for some of the links posted, they've provided some great insight into a story that i wasn't too familiar with. I really like the look of the real house, it's quite unique. The only thing that would stop me living there would be the amount of sight see-ers that will probably continue to go there as long as the actual structure still stands, not any alleged haunting. I feel sorry for the current residents, i'm sure they have to put up with a lot of crap. Although having said that, they would surely have known what to have expected before buying the property, given its history and the hype surrounding it.
There where multiple murders in the house, and that is all true!!! Many times when this happens, the house is never the same. Im sure there is a lot of angry energy in the house. Houses absorb energy, being good or bad. I have lived in many houses and have picked up on some very wicked things. I think they blew the story out of proportion, but im sure there is something there and always will be. I would not live there.

get your lemons ready
But once again thats theory only about a home absorbing negative energy. Everyone who has lived in the home since the Warrens created a fictional story have had no negative experiences other then believers who bother them. Its media that keep the negativity alive.
Actually, the boy murdered his whole family in that house!!!! I am just one that is able to feel positive and negative energy, thats all.. not all people can feel that deeply..
what has lemons got to do with anything,lol.. just wondered!!!!
I agree, K2M. Both of my two kids and I can sense when something is amiss. This is different than hauntings or any of the events portrayed in the movies. It is a feeling of discomfort or sometimes a very good feeling depending upon the place.
Just this week I have been looking at a house as an investment property. All of us had the same feelings and in the same rooms. The previous owners were generally unpleasant and left behind an overall feeling of tension. They have been gone awhile now and the house just felt lonely.
Very long story that happened a number of years ago, but my parents moved from a house where I felt very protected. Maybe from someone who had lived there before. It was the house I grew up in and it just felt so safe and warm. We then moved to this horrifying property that was in fact haunted, the entire area was extremely negative/destructive, animals died, there was black brackish water in the back and many terrible things happened there. We finally sold it many years later. I was the last one there and left literally with incense buring in the car (cough) and vowed to never ever go back to that area which I have not. That house always felt awful.
Agree or not, but I entirely believe this as K2M has described.
