My aunt was visiting a park in Louisiana and took two photos of a chair the second one that is closer to the chair has something dark around it. She possibly could have had something in front of the camera but she takes pictures professionally so she is real careful, but it can still happen to anybody. I would like to find out some explanations please. Especially UglyNrude's analysis. Thanks

The second picture was zoomed in and there are shadows, no flash was used so we can rule that out. So can I say what it is? No not without seeing more of the garden (the direction the pictures came from.) One thing that comes to mind is possible a garden weathervane? This is one of the times more information is needed. It doesn't appear to be just a shadow as they block out the object. So I would then have to say an object closer to the bottom of the lens.

What a beautiful picture, but i dont see anything but a shadow of the chair in both pics., am i missing something?
K2M- I think the shadow mentioned is on the right side of the picture by a bush. I could be wrong. I looks like it could be a weather vane. It is a beautiful garden.
If you look he has one picture and then the second picture is the url below the first. It has some unusual shadows on the chair.
Thank you Ali, but really, both pics. look the same to me. Maybe i am just not seeing it. Icontexto-emoticons-08-032x032 That is a picture i would love to hang on my wall, its just breath taking.
Very unusual! I almost wanted to say it resembled the shadow that Ali mentioned by the bush that shows up in the first picture...but it doesn't quite look like it.

John, I look forward to any more information you might have about the area the picture was taken. Were they taken one right after the other?
I did not see the url. Upon reviewing the second photo, the shadow does look similar to the one on the bush in the first picture. John- I am wondering too the time between the pictures. Thanks for posting.

The unusual part of the picture is the darkness over the front of chair in the second picture. Here is the second one.

The camera was not moved completely from the first picture to the second just zoom in I believe. I will try to find more details of the layout of the garden. The picture with the darkness in it was taken right after the picture in the first post. I will contact my aunt to find the exact location where they were taken, she is out of town right now so it might be a little while.
Oh heck, we're not goin' anywhere! =) Just let us know what you find out when you can. It really is an interesting picture! And I agree with Ali..I really love the garden.
Ali, I think I see the shadow by the bush we saw in the first picture just off to the right in the second..so it's definitely not that.
