it almost sounds like its staged because to me it sounds too loud to be paranormal. i had my volume pretty low and it was still kinda loud, unless you had it on high which was probably it.
I am going to say without knowing the set up .... how many people were there were they walking was the recorder stationary. That it may be footsteps or even the recorder in the hand.
People don't understand what a recorder will pick up, if you use an H2 or a ds 30-50 you can actually listen to evps as you record them. You can hear a bic lighter at 75 yards so any step, hand movement creates lots of noise, so once again your brain looks for sounds that are familar.
Ya it was loud ! One of the better ones. But it is in fact authentic. I also agree that sounds such as walking through gravel, or hand rub on the mic can sometimes cause sounds which can be mistaken for speech. But I have yet to hear full coherent sentences made in this manner in the 30 years I've been doing this ?? A random word I will give you, but clear sentences ??

One thing skeptic's keep forgetting is that a digital or analog recorder is not a receiver.........so mcuh for those 'errant sound waves' out there!
